From what I've heard (and tried to avoid) of the spoilers from next week (since it won't be live because it's our Independence Day from you Brits! :p )... they continue the realism from it, complete with Vince. WWE.com announced that they've suspended Punk for his actions as well.

This is the kind of shit that made you want to tune in from week to week, show to show, back in the Attitude/NWO eras.

The thing is, when there's a big angle going on, I tend to not bother with the other stuff. Now this Punk/Cena angle/match looks really great and really has my attention. Miz/Riley and the Number one Contendership aside nothing really interested me on Raw BECAUSE I wanted to see this angle unfold. I hope the go home has something great on it, Punk should be back on it.

I pretty much just fast forwarded through most of everything except for the opening segment, the triple threat, Miz/Riley, and the close.

Good and bad news from TNA (mostly bad)

Good - Kendrick beats Abyss for the X division belt

Bad - Sting beats Mr Anderson for the TNA title (Wtf???) Oh dear, probably going to be Sting v Hogan for the title now

Orlando Jordan being released isn't bad news.....

Gen Me is.

Sting vs Hogan is set for Bound For Glory I hear, with Hogan going in as the face (is it 1996 again?)

Enjoyed most of Destination X, the four way and the main event especially. Rest was here and there.

what a show closer last night with Punk, McMahon and Cena...see...stuff like this is what this show should be about...young stars in the spotlight..Punk truly deserves to be where he is...if you follow this step by step, this is the same route he took in ROH, right down to the snow angels he did a few weeks back...and he ended up winning the ROH title...I see the same scenario happening here...the big question is...if he's REALLY leaving, why give the guy such a rub if he's legit leaving the company???

Because they wanted to run the angle of ROH to elevate it to a greater stage. In theory Punk could leave with the WWE Title and just turn up at ROH with it, though it's something I doubt. My feeling is Punk will resign with WWE eventually, further on down the road.

AWESOME AWESOME END TO THE PPV!

CM Punk beats John Cena in a wonderful wrestling match, Vince then calls down Del Rio, to cash in as he won Raw's MITB match. Before it can start Punk kicks Del Rio in the head and leaves with the WWE Title. Leaves the WWE with the WWE Title.

Awesome stuff. Great, magical, superb. I'd run out of superlatives describing how good this match and moment was.

I watched it last night before I went to bed... Punk vs. Cena was spectacular. The next best match had to be the Smackdown MitB... you're also right that Show/Henry wasn't that bad. I don't remember the last time I saw Show come off the ropes like that for the shoulder block. They both worked really hard in the match and it showed.

Geez... what I had heard was they were going to repackage him because they couldn't get his ring name trademarked. How incredibly stupid can you be?
