I noticed something on Monday night... despite being gone for nearly a year, I think HBK is still the most over guy involved with WWE other than the Rock.

I think Michaels is still going to get involved in this HHH/Taker match, Triple H told him to tell Undertaker why Taker had no chance of winning, and Shawn then left, telling HHH he had no chance, I'm sorry. I'd love him to be the special ref and cost Triple H the match, saying that if Shawn couldn't beat him, then he can't either.

I think I said something to that effect a couple of weeks ago. Shawn interferes, costs Hunter the match, and then Hunter proceeds to beat the shit out of him for it, thus turning him heel.

Would you bring Shawn back to wrestle though? Or would you just book Triple H as a heel from that point on?

I'd turn Hunter heel from that point, and bring Shawn back short-term for some appearances. With the fans chanting, "one more match" on Monday, I'd see in Shawn would be interested in a two-match PPV deal where he went over Hunter in the first match, and then Hunter beat him in the second and re-retired him. The second match would have to be something along the lines of their no-holds barred "non sanctioned" match when Shawn originally came back in what... 2002?

But it honestly hinges on whether or not Shawn would be interested in coming back for even a short-term program with Hunter. Or if you really wanted to turn Hunter heel... which at this point, he's so over that I don't even know if it could be pulled off. Turning Shawn heel is about the only more difficult thing I could think of. Which is why I think Hunter would have to decimate Shawn in that second match in order to get completely over with the crows as his ruthless heel character again.

If Shawn wanted to come back and wrestle say, and Undertaker style schedule... no house shows, maybe every other RAW as a live appearance and then on tape if needed, and then the PPVs... I think I'd put him over Hunter in a one-off match to get his heat back after being beaten down at WM. Then I'd honestly put him in a program with Miz for the world title. Give him a brief run with it, and then put Miz (or another up and comer) over. I don't know of many things that would propel a guy to the top than a world title win over HBK.

I think turning Triple H heel would be a heck of a lot easier because he has that natural persona of a heel. I do think Shawn would probably come back for a short term program if it's for his friend. The advantage of Triple H turning heel would also be that Raw then has another heel, because Cena is a face, Orton is, Triple H himself is of course, there's 3 main characters who are all face, and while that's levelled out somewhat with Punk and Miz being heel, I do believe it would be beneficial for one of those 3 to turn heel, which at this time would be Hunter.

EDIT : I wouldn't bring Shawn back to have another Title run, even though it would be beneficial somewhat to Miz, he can achieve a level of credit by beating another main eventer for the Title again. I'd just bring him back for a mini program involving Triple H.

I'm also interested to see what's happening with Mistico/Sin Cara this Monday, I assume it might well be something to do with Del Rio is Del Rio wins the Title on Sunday.

It's more the HBK fan in me wanting him to get one last run with the title that makes me say that. ;) Triple H could probably give Miz that bump, but it could be beneficial for say... John Morrison. Just a thought, but I doubt it'll happen. Shawn seems very content to be retired and working on other projects right now, and being around his kids as they grow up. At least that's the impression I get from following him on twitter/Facebook. But I could see him doing the short-time run with Hunter for sure, and it would keep Hunter out of the title picture for a while longer for Cena/Miz to finish up.

I don't know if I'd call Orton so much a face as he is a tweener. He seems to work well in that role, as do Edge and even Triple H when they're booked that way.

If I was booking the product right now, I would put Cena over Miz at Mania on Sunday. I'd keep Triple H out of the title picture for a while longer, via the program with Shawn we've created. I'd then start a Cena heel turn (which I know Vince won't ever do), probably through him continuing to bad mouth and eventually attack the Rock like he did on Monday. Hell, for all we know that could have been the purpose of that. At that point, I think I'd keep Sheamus and Danielson, err... Daniel Bryan going at it for the U.S.Title. Then elevate John Morrison into a program with the Miz, and perhaps Ziggler briefly. Have the Miz get his rematch for the WWE Title, and build into a three-way fued for the WWE title... with Cena in the midst of a heel turn, Morrison as the face, and Miz as the heel.

I'm pretty certain this will never happen though. Morrison is going to be relegated to his program with Ziggler right now, and will continue being mid-tier, maybe getting a program for the U.S. title again. Cena will remain Super Cena, decimate the Miz at Mania, and then beat the crap out of the Rock for good measure. Then Triple H will come back in and begin a year long program with Cena, thus ensuring he gets a chance to give 20 minute monologues at the beginning of every RAW. He'll then eventually become the 14-time World champion, and run roughshod over the entire roster before eventually retiring. ;) At least that's how I figure Vince will book it based on his history. :24:

So.....anyone buying Wrestlemania?

I will be, only costs 15 quid here as opposed to $50. Looking forward to it mainly.

I miss the drinking games me and my mates had from Wrestlemania 19-24. One of them is in Australia now and the other doesn't really like wrestling.

I'm very much considering it at this point. My problem is how fucking much it costs, and the fact that I don't have anyone to watch it with to split the cost.

Yeah if I had to pay $50 for it I wouldn't buy it. We even get 4 PPV's free.

Oh and Jeff Hardy's trial has finally ended, with Jeff walking free after too many continuances.

Apparently, HHH will be coming out to a yet to be announced Metallica song. My money is on For Whom The Bell Tolls.
