The Official WWE/TNA thread

I don't know much about Del Rio, but even if he's bad, I think Edge can carry him to a good match

Del Rio's really good, his work as Dos Caras Jr is a good starting point and the match between him and Edge will rule I feel.

I know a little about the Nexus, but that's it. The last I heard, Punk was leading them? At least I thought that's what I heard on the radio promo for RAW being in Fresno.

Yeha Punk leads them. What happened was John Cena had a match with Wade Barrett (the former leader) at TLC in December and by losing Barrett quit Nexus, then reappeared. Then Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel quit the new Nexus to join Barrett in the Corre. A couple of weeks after Barrett left Nexus Punk becamse the leader and kept Husky Harris, Michael Mcgillycutty, and then recruited Mason Ryan (Batista lookalike).

Lol apologies. I didn't know any other way to express it.

How about:

Yes. :p

You stop watching for a couple of years and it gets all confusing. Then again, it was even worse for me when I started watching again in 2003 after not having watched much of anything the previous four years.

I quit watching for... the 90's and only got back into it when channel surfing and saw Hulk Hogan with a beard spray painted on and thought "What the hell??" and stopped to see why this was so.

I dunno...

Here's what i was reading on prowrestling.net

Dixie Carter came out and was interrupted by Immortal. Eric Bischoff got some mic time. He handed the mic over to Ric Flair, who brought out Hulk Hogan. Hogan said he won the court case and now has 100 percent control of the company. Fortune ran out, but security stepped in. It was pretty weak.
Oh sorry another more detailed report from The Torch

Dixie Carter came to the to speak to the fans. She said that the morning’s decision by the judge concerning who controls TNA didn’t go in her favor. Eric Bischoff and Immortal (Matt Hardy, Rob Terry, Gunner, and Murphy) came out to gloat, saying they are in total control of TNA now. Bischoff said he still thinks Dixie’s got a lot of balls, even though she is a woman in the man’s world of pro wrestling. Ric Flair came out next (to a babyface pop, since the show’s in N.C.) and said some stuff to Dixie, like that there was a Holiday Inn nearby where they could go.

Eric Bischoff then introduced the returning Hulk Hogan He got more cheers than boos. Hogan rambled a little less than he usually does on TNA shows, talking about how he and Eric were 100 percent in control of the company now.

Next, Fortune came out and cut some decent promos (except for Kazarian, who just had a bad one-liner). When they tried to go into the ring to fight Immortal, TNA security stopped them.
And Sting beat Jeff Hardy for the Title.
