Re: The iPhone/Android/Windows 7 Phone thread

Oddly enough, I just read an article comparing the 2 (gist: Pandora SUCKS!). I know you have to hit the little heart button to customize your stations but I haven't played around w/ it beyond that.

I'm alright with that. There's thumbs up/down in Pandora. It just gets a little frustrating when it gets into these moods where it keeps playing songs by the same artist, or playing music that isn't related. I have a radio station that is based in hip hop and dance music, and while I like a few Lil Wayne songs, sometimes it'll play like five of his songs in a row. And it also has a tendency to decide that Journey and the like are very fitting for a hip hop/dance station. I hate having to thumb down songs I like! lol

Re: The iPhone/Android/Windows 7 Phone thread

I've offered my help to Veronica at least twice on getting it setup, and she hasn't taken me up on it. I installed it on my forum and it took all of about 15 minutes.

Maybe you can start a poll thread re: who wants to have Tapa talk or Not. Maybe that will get V and or Mods attention eh?

I know she had been busy with the baby etc which is understandable of course.....so I guess maybe a bit of patience from Otzers. That thread maybe will pump some *motivation* to start with the Tapa Talk . What do you think? :p

OR what do others think too ? ? ?......:willy_nilly:

I should clarify... iOS 4.3 is available for the iPhone 3GS and 4, and the third and fourth generation iPods. As well as the iPad/iPad 2.

Just added "bump" to my Android today. That way I can just "bump" phones w/ another Android user and transfer contacts, apps, pictures, etc.

I heard there is an upcoming Iphone 5 this year....Probably this Spring or Summer. It's due to the merging of Tmobile and AT&T, Apple said. I guess then a new IOS 5. something may have to come out for updates of older models 224_animated_ninja_disappearing.gif

NavFree, downloads the maps to the phone instead of grabbing online maps from the web, this minimises data usage

Google maps uses the internet for map loading, this one is installed on the phone itself, just uses the gps system

I don't know, maybe it is just a glitch on your connection, maybe something else. does it work sometimes?

iOS4.3.3 is out (it is even as bad as Windows OS, lol) This update is I think to stop the tracking function that was in the news recently
