That I understand. I think it was like a year or so after he was elected, this one poll I saw said something like 66%+ of the people who voted for him regret their decision. But I don't remember what the amount of people in the group was. Even then, though, he's been painted as a second messiah. There was definitely more hatred for Bush than Obama.

I definitely wouldn't say the media see him as a messiah, in my most unbiased opinion (I am neither a fan nor a foe of the man, I don't think he's a good president but I also don't know who COULD be right now, bleh) even the liberals are disenchanted...I just saw Rachel Maddow ripping him to shreds about something when I was flipping through the channels. He's not appeasing the left either, because he's dragging his feel on gay rights and many feel he is pandering to the tea party, etc...

I'll never forget hearing Chris Matthews saying, after an Obama campaign speech, that he felt a tingle down his leg listening to Obama speak. Yup, completely unbiased journalism there. :24:

*Every statement and action in this email is factual and directly attributable to Barrack Hussein Obama. Every bumble is a matter of record and completely verifiable. *

Right... show some evidence, not your overblown hyperbole. :p

Right now I'd vote for Obama over every Republican candidate who has announced except maybe Ron Paul, not to be confused with Rand Paul. I really want to like him (Ron Paul), but I'd have to research him a lot more to see how radical he really is before making that decision. I don't approve of individual liberty that allows for blatant discrimination, depriving others of their liberties.

So your saying to be unbiased you can't experience an emotional reaction? Isn't that part of being human?

I just got a Chris Matthews tingle down my leg reading this ;) :jk

I've always felt if Republicans had any sense at all, they'd relax on the social policies just long enough to snare some moderates and liberals who are concerned about spending. They'd win every time.

I don't vote for these people because of their social policies, not always because of their platforms in general.

What do you have against Rand? Hell, he stood on the Senate floor and filibustered against the so-called PATRIOT Act trying to get provisions removed from it, and still voted against extending it. He's very similar to his father politically.

Honestly, the real only choice out of all of the candidates is Ron Paul, and he's the one that will get slaughtered by the likes of Romney (Obama-right).

Oh come on... you know saying something like that as a journalist was completely inappropriate. I'm pretty certain at that point in time he wasn't a Rush-like pundit, but attempting to be a "serious" journalist. Plus, you can experience an emotional reaction, but you don't have to blurt it out like that and taint any credibility that you might have had.

They sicken me with all their blather to kiss the religious rights ass.

Drove me away from them to being a libertarian

Here's some great evidence of our "more secure" borders since Obama took office

A convoy of three military trucks loaded with Mexican soldiers crosses the border at Bridge Number Two clearly violating international law.

It happens as Customs and Border Protection inspectors try to figure out what to do.

http://www.pro8news.com/news/local/Mexican-troops-cross-into-the-United-States--124469714.html

We're so secure that we somehow let the Mexican military cross into the United States, while the Border Patrol doesn't know what to do about it... awesome.

He's in good company. If you want real love for Obama and the left check out Maddow and Olbermann.
