I just think it sounds very gay to be comparing penises. It's normal yes, but sounds gay to me. Ain't no communal showers here, I think circumcision should not be a matter of blending in with everyone else. Even if a guy wasn't circumcised, maybe women should learn to be more tolerant and not so judgmental over a natural penis. If they really love their man she would not care if it was or not, she would still make love to him

My kid plays baseball, football and basketball for his school. After sporting events or practices, they're off to the field house to shower. (Ironically, we just had this discussion the other day, because, he had some serious arm pit odor going on. ) He stated that the shower area is wide open, with poles all around. Each pole consists of 8 shower heads... in a circle... so... it's not that they're inspecting each other dicks, it's the fact the the dicks are dangling right there in a circle. At 12 years old, they are very, very self conscious.

I dated a woman once that was completely natural, and I mean completely. She wouldn't even trim... now I tried to not let it bother me, really I did... but she had to go. I agree that there should be a Poll on this. I have been with both and I notice the difference. If I had had a boy I would have had him circumcised. Not for Religious beliefs or anything like that but because I believe that the majority of men in the US are circumcised and I wouldn't want my son having a harder time growing up because he was different than the other boys his age. Just one more thing for kids to pick on and at the age that kids shower together in school it's bound to stick out.
Kids have a hard enough time growing up. Why should we as parents not make the decision and give just one more reason for our kids to be different. We have to take in account what's best for our children when they can't and I see circumcision as the way to protect them from something that could turn into a very sensitive situation.

Kids aren't thinking of conforming or not conforming they are just thinking why the FUCK am I different from all the other boys? What is wrong with me? imagine how humiliating that would be for a kid if some situation comes up where he's "exposed" and other boys see that he's different from them, especially DOWN THERE, he'd never live it down.

I would disagree with this part... at least at your boys age. It's more a matter of curiosity and trying to be "normal" and boys do that by comparison. At your boys age, just falling within the "normal" range of those around him will give him comfort.

I asked my boys dad who ISNT and is nearly 40 a while back when this first started if he ever felt different or embarressed.
