I'm telling you this is a HOF thread if ever there was one.
Wow! A lot of reading and a lot of misinformation...
First let me say, if natural (uncircumcised) is more sensitive than circumcised... then I am VERY happy that I am not natural. I could not imagine having MORE feeling, I wouldn't even last to full penetration. So if being natural would give me more feeling, than no thank you. I would like to last more than a few seconds thank you.
Second, I would not want to watch my wife pull back my foreskin and lick my "head cheese" before giving me a BJ
Third, they don't just hack off the skin anymore. I had both my sons snipped (without their permission) and they were anesthetized first. Logan whined during the procedure (I think he was pissed about being undressed) and Vincent didn't cry at all. So how traumatic could it have been.
Fourth, I didn't ask my kids permission to have them vaccinated. I didn't ask them what names they wanted nor did i ask them how they would like to be disciplined. As parents we make choices for our children. We don't wait until they get older then ask them what they want. How many of you parents got your daughters ears pierced?
Fifth, it is easier to keep clean when circumcised. I do not have that extra step of pulling back my foreskin every time I take a bath, I just wash the area like every other. This would be an inconvenience since I take a shower daily. Maybe it isn't as much an inconvenience in Europe or the middle east where bathing isn't as frequent as it is here in the states.
Last and most important... I'm an atheist so religion or religious beliefs had nothing to do with my choice. I live in America where the vast majority of men are circumcised, that was the basis of my decision. In a very large school, I can't think of one other boy who wasn't circumcised. And you would have known because we all showered in gym class. That's just one more thing for a growing boy to be self conscious about, like life isn't hard enough at that age. Then add the fact that MOST American women expect to see a circumcised penis when they get down and dirty with their man. How would you like to have to explain it every time you have sex? Would you really like to be the "freak" of the town when you are the only natural man around?

It doesn't really work like that. Although if you do look at the studies i've posted earlier, penile dysfunction seems to happen more often in circumcised males... unconclusively tho... the studies aren't 100% in either direction.
Interestingly, a recent sex study recently showed that European couples averaged 14 minutes for intercourse compared to the North American duration of 7 minutes... maybe that's got something to do with it?

You have previously stated that circumcised men have less sensitivity because they no longer have foreskin to protect their glands from friction. And i am saying you are wrong, it doesn't work like that. If what you are saying is true, then premature ejaculation would never be a problem here in the states. And ask any woman here, it's a problem with quite a few men... Sorry, your statement about being desensitized is just incorrect.

This would really go to disproving your earlier statements about desensitization. This study would suggest that we are more sensitive... right? I'm sure there are many factors going into this and it wasn't a study on circ vs natural.

Yes, I understand that smegma is not dirt, but like you said above, it's a natural secretion. So whether you use soap or not, she is getting a mouth full during oral....

Having your glans desensitised only means your glans are desensitised, which is one of the few irrefutable facts available. The glans toughen, and lose sensitivity. It's widely thought that you gain sensitivity in other areas like the shaft to compensate.
Tell you what, if you don't believe me, go grab a European man, and rub their exposed head with a dry hand. Once they've screamed and then punched your lights out, you'll understand just how much sensitivity you've lost in that particular area.

1 shower a day will keep the smegma away. Easily. It builds up over days. No woman has ever had a mouth full of smegma from me, nor I'm sure any other European male in this forum. The penis is no more difficult to clean than your legs, or your hands. A bit of warm water, a little soap, a very pleasurably feeling and the job is done. Bish bosh, clean willy, ready for action.

And this statement completely sums up the reason I had my boys circumcised. And it was this point and this point only that drove my decision, yet Edgray has yet to address this.

Smegma is kinda gross, but it's true, it takes ages to build up. I guess that could vary from guy to guy though. If penis washing if so hard get your bloody girlfriend to do it, even better
