Senate Scheduled to Violate Constitution

I would not be so sure about Reid though.

His numbers are bad right now but he has a war chest and tons of money to spend when the time is right.

The republicans need to come up with a credible candidate. As much as I wish otherwise Reid will not go down easy.

I know I have commented about Reid being toast. He is right now. But may not be when the money starts being spent.

So he continues on with traditions of previous presidents... pretending to care about shit to gain public support; 'changing' shit we don't want changed, in curropt ways; violating the constitution; and sending my brother to fight in useless wars.

God bless fucking America. :thumbdown

well I was only going by somebody who had some input from being in the Vegas area and having been involved with the republican party there.

I hope to hell this asshat gets voted out.

Same with the cunt Pelosi

I rarely use that word but the fucking clown is beyond being labeled a bitch

I'm just aching for Pelosi's ass to get kicked out of office. Lucky for us, she faces an election every other year.

Charging a fine for refusing to buy health care?

Is that constitutional

The latest bullshit is that the liberals know the proposal has flaws and there will be time to fix them.

That is the biggest bunch of bullshit ever and I have seen it used by the morons that regulate my industry.

You do NOT iron out the details after the fact. You get them right from the get go.

This is nothing but a cluster fuck

The 10th Amendment. I know it's as inconvenient as that Thou shalt not covet Thy Neighbor's Wife commandment, but it's there and it's important.

This should make you happier than a pig in shit... because if it's as unconstitutional as you think it is, then it will be struck down by the supreme court when it's challenged.

Oh, and go google debates on whether health care reform as it's being proposed is unconstitutional or not. There are not many people who think it is and the argument is very weak when arguing that it is.

The 10th amendment states:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
But the constitution addresses general welfare and that taxes can be imposed. So they are in their constitutional rights to tax us for our general welfare. ie health care

And no one is proposing a federal take over of health care.

Taxation without representation is Un-Constitutional. As far as I'm concerned Tim, this is an issue that is SO BIG, and SO IMPORTANT, that it should have been in the light of day. Just like the Messiah promised it would. Funny how we forgo integrity when the agenda agrees with us.

General Welfare is not referring to health care or anything of the sort. Don't believe me? Go read the Articles of Confederation:

Article III. The said States hereby severally enter into a firm league of friendship with each other, for their common defense, the security of their liberties, and their mutual and general welfare, binding themselves to assist each other, against all force offered to, or attacks made upon them, or any of them, on account of religion, sovereignty, trade, or any other pretense whatever.
