Republican Lies/Self Delusion. Don't Be a Sucker.

1. Evolution is a myth.
2. There were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
3. Al-Qaida trained in Iraq.
4. There is no global warming.
5. Republicans were not the first to propose bank bailouts.
6. W's tax cuts and the Iraq Ward did not substantially escalate the national debt.
7. W's tax cuts created jobs.
8. President Obama is not a U.S. Citizen.
9. There are no adverse consequences for a debt default.
10. The GOP is the best party to return the nation to prosperity.*

*The GOP is the best party to keep the 1% prosperous. That is until the revolution.

Rush Limbaugh Made Them Do It @newsweek.

Of recent interest, Obama recently signed legilsation that enacted Free Trade Agreements with South Korea, Panama, and Colombia. These deals glided through Congress silently, no fight and Obama got no credit which for me is ironic because I like Obama but hate free trade agreements if job protections are not in place, because if not, corporations use them as job exportation agreements. I have no idea what these agreements contained, but I assume the worst. But that is not the point of this paragraph. The point is that Obama did some things that Republicans should love but they will never utter a positive syllable out loud. The author of this article Paul Begala, a Democratic insider suggests that Republicans should have adopted the same strategy on extending Obama's payroll-tax cut. According to Begala, the myopic (my word) GOP just handed Obama the election.

Like free trade, tax cuts are completely compatible with Republican orthodoxy. Heck, they are Republican orthodoxy. When we had a surplus, the GOP's answer was to cut taxes . When the surplus turned into deficit (in large part due to the Bush tax cuts), the Republican's supported more tax cuts. In time of peace they argued for (wait for it) tax cuts. When we were involved with two wars, costing billions of dollars a month, then-House Republican leader Tom Delay said, "Nothing is more important in the face of war than cutting taxes."

The article goes on to ask how could the Republicans support tax cuts for everything and millionaires, but then oppose it for the working class.

The Republicans seem to believe that if they tank the economy, they will be able to take down Obama and then rule over the ruins. Back in 2010, Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell declared that “the single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.” And the single best way to defeat Obama is to sabotage the economy.

But there’s just one problem with that strategy: the Republicans have no choice but to pursue it in broad daylight. And the trouble is, if they kill Obama’s middle-class tax cut, and Obama’s American Jobs Act, and his extension of unemployment benefits, and everything else he’s advocating to revive the economy, then fair-minded voters will likely blame the Republicans, and not the president, for the catastrophic results.

This is who you would want running our National government??

Why didn't the Obama administration crow from the rooftops that he'd gotten a bipartisan win? It would have been a huge mark in his leadership column.

Merry Christmas! :)

A typical conversation between Democrats and Republicans. :)
I'm not crying, Mr. Potter.
-Well, you're begging and that's a whole lot worse.
All I'm asking for is thirty days more. Just thirty short days. I'll dig up that five thousand somehow.
- Shove me up. Shove me up. Have you put any real pressure on these people of yours to pay those mortgages?
Times are bad, Mr. Potter. A lot of these people are out of work.
- Then foreclose!
I can't do that.These families have children.
-They're not my children.
But they're somebody's children, Mr. Potter.
-Are you running a business or a charity ward?
Well, all right...
- Not with my money.
Mr. Potter, what makes you such a hard-skulled character? You have no family, no children. You can't begin to spend all the money you've got.
-So I suppose I should give it to miserable failures like you and that idiot brother of yours to spend for me.

oh bull shit

there are moderates on the right

look at the loons in the north east who claim to be republicans

if you want to say there are only far right then one can make the same comment about there being only the far left. Those in charge sure as hell are far left.

You liberals must all walk with blinders. Both parties are shit.

GOPer leaders are sociopaths who "dont care about the peons at all, at all, at all!"

Quoting George Carlin

Their goal is the dollar-a-day wage for everyone but the billionaires.

That wage gives maximum profit to the Bosses.

The rich threaten to leave the country if we curb their profit seeking.

We will be better off if they do leave - we then can get paid our full wage, not just half of it.

"Population Reduction" is their end goal. Only 300million people needed to make the

luxuries craved by the one billionaire who will emerge as the winner after the earth's corporations go through merger after merger after merger and one multinational corporation then owns every farm, factory and house on earth.

He will only need 300 million peons. The rest of humanity will be seen as surplus rabble. A "line" will be drawn around them and they will be left to starve.
Such is the GOP corporate economy's idea of a fine future.
"Population Reduction" is the term observers use to describe it.
(Catherine Fitts is whom I heard of this from. But I differ from her on endorsements. I favor Obama, she sadly is for RWer ron paul) sigh
---The alternative to the Population Reduction economy?
Sweden. It's far, far better. End goal there is a prosperous MIDDLE CLASS. No rich, no poor.

The Grinch's win in S.Carolina is illustrative of the fall of this country, and S.Carolina has a strong claim to stupidest State of the USA. But did God ever tell them, who he wanted to win??
