And then is completely responsible for Holland's winner, terrible defending, it worries me where he's learnt to stand side on. Speaking of Chelsea, Cech was on top form again against Republic Of Ireland.Jones-Young combination for the second goal was drool (1).gif

Spain beat Venzuela 5-0 in Malaga but Roberto Soldado scored a hat trick, now that's significant because at the moment Spain are having an intriguing problem in that David Villa may not make the Euro's, and probably not at 100% (he broke his leg in December), so the auditions are open for that role as it stands. The favourites are Soldado, Fernando Llorente and Cesc Fabregas (who can play that number 9 role) and maybe at a push Torres, though his club form as we know isn't at all good, and he wasn't even picked for this friendly. At the moment the favourite front three would probably be

Mata-----Cesc-----Pedro

But it's open for sure.

Sheffield Wednesday sack Gary Megson despite the club being third in League One, weird.

Villa's telling people he's aiming to be fit for the Clasico in April (the third to last game of the season). If he manages that he'll go, but if he isn't ready, I don't think Del Bosque will take him. I'd play Soldado to be honest, he's a good target man.

Arsenal might just do this, 3-0 up at half time, they've been very good, Milan have been poor. Mirror image of the first leg really, but Arsenal have been as good as 3-0. Milan nearly got one back just then but it would have been undeserved, however that's what Arsenal can't afford, a Milan away goal. Keep playing as they have and they're through.

Great performance, that's all we wanted, and that's what we're getting.

Rosicky looks like the Rosicky of old again. He's always at his best when he turns and runs at players and opens up space for the pass.
