Carling dont do football weekends but if they did.........

Great weekend! West Ham finally win and pull 4 points away from the drop zone and Pompey get to the FA cup final, a day after getting relegated by dumping Spurs and their and our former manager, Twitchy, out of the cup. Love it!:D

That Wembley pitch is terrible btw.....Not to say it is an excuse for teams losing, it really isn't because top class players should be better, but for a stadium that is supposed to be as good as Wembley is it's shocking.

nahh.....:p

Seriously, that pitch ended Michael Owen's season. The reason Chelsea didn't complain about it was because they won. Had they lost they'd have had a complaint.

I mean the weather cannot be an excuse because The Emirates is a short walk away, and that pitch is like a bowling green, and Spurs's isn't too shabby either.

Oh, so it's just a coincidence that the only player of the 28 used on that day, it happened to be Mchael Owen that got injured? :24:
If you ask me, his feeble body is more to blame than the pitch!

And also, correct me if I'm wrong.. But didn't you win as well? And you still moan! :24::24::24:
Who would have thought Chelsea would be the team to give you a lesson in grace & magnanimous victory.

Well firstly it was proven that the pitch was the cause of Owen's injury.

And secondly I wasn't complaining about it, shit happens. It's why I didn't get why Arsenal were trying to consult legal action over the Van Persie injury while playing for Holland.

'you' is a blanket term to cover everyone who bums sir fergie.

A few months ago it was Liverpools fault for playing him too much as a teenager.. It's nobodies or any things fault, Owen is just injury prone.
He's not the first good player to have his career all but ended because of constant injury problems.

The other reason being his contract had run out, and also the FA are going to make a decision as to whether to relay the Wembley pitch.

Well here's a suggestion. Go up the North Circular, down Fallodan Way, all the way down to Holloway Road, take the first left onto Parkhurst Road and take the second right down Blackstock Road and if you look to your right you'll see The Emirates Stadium. Park there, go in and get grass seeds from the groundsmen because that pitch is outstandingly good, and that's from a Man United fan.

And yes Owen is injury prone, but that doesn't disguise the fact that that pitch caused the injury (if you remember he ran into the area, hit a shot and as he was hitting it his foot hit a divot caused by the pitch, causing him to overcompensate on a stretch and tear his hamstring.

Jesus! Next you're going to blame Tevez and sue West Ham! (everyone else does, might as well jump aboard)

Nah they've had enough trouble, especially with the porn gang in charge and Arturo picking the team

(nb - Arturo is the owner of a hairsalon near here, and he is the spitting image of Zola)

Ever heard the phrase that once is an accident, twice is coincidence?
Well, I've lost count of the amount of times Owen has torn his hamstring now.

The pitch didn't cause owen's injury, at worst it made the game unpleasing to watch. But then Aston Villa probably had more to do with that :24:
You're man utd doctors can 'prove' and accuse whatever they wish, but if you ask me - Sir Alex needs a scapegoat for his crock of a mistake.

‘Typical Germans’ ensured we lost, claims Man Utd’s typical Scot

Typical Scot Sir Alex Ferguson was last night angered by Bayern Munich’s players as Manchester United crashed out of the Champions League on away goals, citing their behaviour as ‘typically German’.
The Germans stand accused by Ferguson of going about their business in a ruthlessly efficient manner, and seeking to exploit the weaknesses of their opponents at every available opportunity.
“It’s typical of the Germans,” said Ferguson after the match.
“Pretending to be all nice when secretly they were doing everything in their incredibly effective soul-destroying powers to knock us out of the competition.”
“Passing the ball around so efficiently, putting it on our net when they wanted to. It’s all so typically German, don’t you think.”
“They also definitely told Rafael to make two silly and completely unnecessary challenges, ensuring he was sent off. Bloody Germans.”
“The way they made sure the referee knew it was his second booking was ruthlessly, and definitely not the sort of thing you see week in week out from my players.”
Victory

Bayern Munich Manager Louis van Gaal claimed his side’s victory was well deserved, and that Ferguson was simply reacting like a typical Scot.
He told reporters, “We deserved to win by virtue of scoring more goals away from home, it is a simple equation. Ferguson is just being typically Scottish.”
“If there’s one thing the Scots are famous for, it’s being gracious in defeat. That, and passing on good wishes to their victors. And their passive nature. Oh, hang on…”
“Look, I’ll just be glad if Ferguson stops making drunken abusive phone calls to me before the semi-final.”
