West Ham have got Liverpool this evening, away, been nearly 50 years since we beat them at Anfield but I still live in hope. Would be a great time to beat this bogie, 3 points would pretty much keep us up and Liverpool have had a poor season. Also Torres is out injured.

Depends what Liverpool team turns up.

Since they don't have Torres, and Gerrard is playing - I reckon you stand a good chance.

West Ham could have a decent chance tonight I think.

Also UEFA are going to decide whether Liverpool's Europa League tie against Athletico will go ahead, but they have announced Fulham's will against Hamburg.

Could be close, I mean West Ham play Wigan Saturday, then Fulham away before Man City at home. They could win all 3 really, Wigan are poor away (I know they beat Arsenal but the fact still remains), Fulham are focused on Europe and Man City might have already made 4th by that game and therefore rest players.

Hull play Villa on Wednesday, who need to keep winning to make Europe, then Sunderland at home, then Wigan away then Liverpool last day of the season. The thing that strikes me about Hull though is that they don't have a great deal of quality and that could cost them.

Burnley are pretty much down. They play Liverpool Saturday who are still after 4th, then they go to Birmingham (who, whilst not being that great themselves, Burnley are beyond helpess away) before facing Tottenham at home, who again might have to win to secure 4th. They need 5 points to stay up as it stands, and that's not even taking into account that West Ham will probably win games.

The two for me to go down are Hull and Burnley.

After looking at them fixtures, i agree with you.

West Ham are in just the same kind of miserable run of form (they look a bit uninterested too), but i think they will stay up just on the basis they already have the points. They have the best fixtures too.

Hull and Burnley could very easily lose all them games.

Well I was right, West Ham just beat Wigan 3-2 and Sunderland beat Hull at the KC. West Ham are pretty much safe now, for them to go down they'd have to lose all their games and Hull would have to win both there's, with a huge goal difference swing (West Ham losing 19-0 to Fulham and Hull beating Wigan about 15-0)

Burnley will be confirmed tomorrow, unless they somehow beat Liverpool.

Why are people saying that? Even on TV. Burnley have 3 games left and could get 9 points (they won't....but could)

West Ham are certainly not mathmatically safe

Yeah but Burnley are awful, I mean I know they beat us but that was then, when they had a half decent manager and a good home record, both gone, to be replaced with a man who really is out of his depth at this level (then again he was in the lower divisions)

Burnley will not stay up, mark my words. And West Ham cannot possibly mess this up. Surely not...

Never said they would, quite the opposite, just surprised at people on BBC website announcing (I think they may have changed it now) that WHU are now safe

Oh yeah I agree that officially (like on websites ) it should never be proclaimed official until it is, that's a little disrespectful.

I'm fine to do it however, I think.

Barcelona being 1-0 up at the moment makes me happy.

2-0, Henry.

Dammit, 2-1, great finish though.

Burnley need to get something against Liverpool tomorrow and then win their last two games to even have a chance. Lose to Liverpool and they can kiss the Premiership goodbye unless they can win their last 2 games about 10 - 0 and West Ham dont get anymore points, Hull would now have to win their last 2 games about 10 - 0 each too to be safe. I'd bet all my money on West Ham staying up now.:D:thumbup

Very happy though we made it as hard as possible, our defense was fucking useless again, that and a new manager should be our priorities to sort out in the summer. Parker is just brilliant though and I'd dread to think where would be this season without him, should be made captain. I think its a safe bet that he's going to win Hammer of the year for the second season in a row.

I just hope you keep him for your sakes. He's going to be wanted again by European level clubs this summer. Maybe even Champions League. I'm stunned he's still behind Carrick and even Huddlestone int the pecking order for Capello

......yet Upson who has been terrible lately is still 3rd choice central defender for England! If anyone is likely to go in the summer I think it's more likely to be Upson but I see what happened in the last transfer window happening again, loads of wild report of all our big stars moving on and no one significant leaving.

I cannot believe Upson will make the squad. Even DaCosta was so much better than he was at Anfield. He just clearly didnt' give a crap and is playing out his season. I don't want a player like that going to the World Cup and, on form, Dawson and Jagielka are far more deserving
