Real Football (Soccer to you Yanks) Thread

Least the're still only off bottom spot on goal difference but, yeah, great opportunity wasted to keep them bottom. I take it Redkunt got a good reception?

you bet he did lol we wernt like when he arrives at the hammers ground!

Though one day we'll get over his judasness after all he took us to FA cup glory!

squandered chance of a win though still a point against em better than none

It's true though, it's hard to have any respect for any club, because you know every club in the world wants to be snapped up by billionaire play boys.

It's getting to the point now that every club seems to have billionaire tycoon owners, and one day it's all going to come crashing down when these billionaires realise that although there is money to be made in football, the inputs are huge and never ending (every new season you need new players) and impossible to predict. I bet Abromovich was certain Shevchenko would be worth every penny.

2-1 to us against the Spuds at half time. They were deluded enough to think they had a chance to win when we let them take the lead, until we came storming back. Schooles and Berbatov with the goals (you had to know Berba would score)

Crap by Spurs. They looked like they didn't even want to be in the FA cup. I know the're fighting relegation but I'm sure their fans would like to see them have some glory. Hope they get stuffed in the league cup final for the disrespectful way they treated the FA cup this year.
Oh, I see Millwank were at it again, ripping out and chucking seats around because they lost to Hull though I've got to begrudgingly applaud their efforts in bringing back terracing.:D Still, what a shit team and a shit bunch of supporters.

Our winning run continues against Everton at home 1-0. We won through a Ronaldo penalty, Arteta did catch Carrick on his way through, that being said i didn't actually appeal for it because i wasn't that sure, but having seen it again, it is a penalty. We should also have had one in the second half when Lescott tripped Carrick, wasn't given, even though that was more of a penalty than the one that was given.

Man City have Middlesbrough at home on Saturday. For everyone that doesn't know Middlesbrough are an awful side fighting relegation while Man City are one of the biggest clubs in the world, so I can only see an easy 3-0 victory for City.
