I think Messi is just better, but Ronaldo's contribution to Madrid this season has been immense also.

Anyway ended 3-2 to Barcelona last night, bit more of a struggle than it needed to be. Win next week though (which they should do) against Valladolid at Camp Nou and they are Champions.

I know it sounds negative but I'm thinking of it as if Chelsea will win because anything other will be a disappointment in terms of expectation, I'm sure we'll beat Stoke easily at home, but also I think Chelsea will win.

You really should have done, chances you had. Even funnier is had yuo won, you'd have gone ahead of Villa meaning you wouldn't have had to start in July in the Europa League.

Yeah seems to be, he'd be a very good choice in my opinion. Others being talked of are Mark Hughes, Salven Bilic and indeed Curbs.

Edit : England squad, to be cut down to 23.

Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David James, Robert Green.

Defenders: Leighton Baines, Jamie Carragher, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock.

Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Tom Huddlestone, Adam Johnson, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Forwards: Darren Bent, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney.

Happy enough with the squad, glad that Parker got a well deserved call up. Wtf is Carragher doing in there though??? The guy got ripped apart by an inexperienced youth team player at West Ham. Far too slow and over the hill. Disagree that Heskey should be in there too though it was always going to happen, he's just a big clumsy oaf.

Midfielders:Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Adam Johnson, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Forwards: Darren Bent, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney.

That's my 23-man squad!

4-5-1

Gerrard
Lennon - Lampard - A.Johnson

I know you'd love to off load us with Rafa but even we're not that desperate! Last thing we need is a manager spending a load on shit! Nice try though!:thumbup

Pretty good choice of squad except for Carragher, come on! The guy got ripped apart by a youth team player for a relegation candidate team, striker on his debut! Carragher is now Championship material at best!
I'd personally also swap Carrick for Parker.

But the shit he'd buy for Liverpool is really good for West Ham! :24:

I know Carragher is past his best, but he's got the experience in top competitons and against the top players for me. Sure he get shamed by one player, but everyone has their off days. King has just returned and is a risk, Wes Brown is never consistent and Upson hasn't got enough experience but is good admittingly.

You should actually see my Liverpool XI + Bench when the squad is fit! It can work!
