I went and googled and found an article on it. defeated 6-3
still I don't get why it was ruled that way. there is nothing to prevent the legislation picked out from being voted on separately. seems like burying shit legislation in a large bill is also an abuse of power. as it gets passed in a large bill even though it never would even get off the floor sometimes.
bring them liberal bastards and bastettes to their friggin knees![]()
attack, attack, attack
might as well keep em on the defensive. they never gave the moron Bush a chance right out of the gate before he fouled things up.

Bush was a total friggin moron
I could never defend him. It might look like I do sometimes but that is usually in reaction to somebody with BDS
Bush did something I thought was impossible. Be as bad as Peanut Boy.

Good points.A very badly planned war ignoring the signs of what would happen in the way of unrest once Sadaam was removed
Spending along with the republican congress at record levels
No child left behind is a joke
That is a start
The guy is no conservative.
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House in DC:
One is from New York , another is from Tennessee and the third,is from Florida . All three go with a White House official to examine thefence.
The Florida contractor takes out a tape measure and does somemeasuring, then works some figures with a pencil. 'Well,' he says,'I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100profit for me.'
The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, thensays,'I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crewand $100 profit for me.
The New York contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, '$2,700.
The official, incredulous, says, 'You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high igure?'
The New York contractor whispers back, '$1000 for me, $1000 foryou, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence.'
'Done!' replies the government official. And that, myfriends, is how the American federal government contracting system works!
Which is exactly why I am a huge proponent of SMALL GOVERNMENT, and everyone else should be too! When people get a chance to spend other people's money, they aren't going to necessarily make the best choices. Thanks
Got the following in an email today. Kind of sums it up
