The gashes combined with what the witness saw are absolute proof of Zimmerman's story. He is innocent until proven guilty. Even if he went only on his word it is still up to the prosecution to prove otherwise. So far they admit they have nothing.

Which witness? What did they see? The one that claimed to see Martin on top of GZ? That is absolute proof?

The head injuries may ultimately not support his claims if they're found to have occurred in a different manner than the claims. Basic stuff here.

I want to see someone produce a link that shows a witness who saw GZ's head being "bashed into the sidewalk." I don't believe one exists, as much as it has been claimed in this thread.

You are merely trying to dodge the post where you stated "if you are going to commit homicide you need to be arrested"

A smooth sidewalk isn't going to make a cut less than a half inch long.

I don't see any great danger in the wounds he sustained, not enough to warrant homicide.

And if you are going to commit homicide, you need to be arrested.

And this is why I want to see it go to trial, so these questions can be properly answered.

My only beef is with those who "know" it was self defense and feel it should have never made it to trial.


The "watchman" who wasn't a watchman at the time committed homicide. He needs to answer for that in a court of law where a jury can decide if it was justified or not.

That is about as stupid as if Zimmerman had claimed since no one saw him pull the trigger he didn't shoot Martin. Martin was shot Zimmerman had the gun. A witness saw Martin on top of Zimmerman and Zimmerman had gashes on the back of his head. Where else would they have came from? How ridiculous to even suggest the wounds on his head came from something else.

Of course Zimmerman can testify but that is not the issue and one has to question his credibility given he could be guilty. This issue is did other independent persons witness what was said or heard.

I think that is the answer. Since no one actually saw GZ shoot TM there is no proof he did. Since what GZ claims doesn't matter the whole thing is an unsolved murder because no one saw it. Forget evidence, eyewitness testimony is the only thing that matters. GZ should be a free man.

Just because no one saw it doesnt mean it didnt happen.
There is no one that saw him get the gashes other than from a head slamming..So until that time he is the only witness

Sometimes there isn't enough evidence to convict someone even if most people have a hunch about what happened. GZ is innocent until proven guilty, that is how it works. It is like this because it is better to have a guilty person walk away every now and then that it is to convict an innocent person. If GZ is convicted of anything it probably won't be second degree murder.

Can you explain one thing to me?

If Martin was on top of Zimmerman bashing his head into the sidewalk and Zimmerman was fearful for his life, then how did they get into the grass where Zimmerman shot him?
If they were already in the grass when he shot him, then how could he still be fearful that Martin was going to kill him by bashing his head into the sidewalk?

And if Martin was on top of Zimmerman bashing his head into the sidewalk, then how did they get into the grass with Martin still on top?

I have a question though..is there anything in the video which shows probable cause for murder to make the arrest justified.
