As for the subject; I don't believe it's dead, but it is definitely rare, especially where I live. I'm nice but I don't always get treated nicely...

Unless.....we're raised to think for ourselves.....not blaming the parents, just trying to make sense out of why some people think that chialry is old fashioned while others believe it to be alive and well in the 21st century.

I don't mind a little bit of chivalry, but I'm the type of girl in which I hate people doing things for me too much, it's like saying I'm incapable of doing everything I normally do anyway, chivalry is only good if it's really needed. In some parts it's dead, some parts it's not. Depends on the way the guy was raised.
