It's nature. What's the big deal?
Likewise, i agree with such situation...

overall, if such situation were to happen, it would be good for the child to have an explination of what is exactly going on....

The talk about the "birds & the bees"... ya know?

No, no, no!!!

The correct answer is, you need to distract the kids to look away so they don't ask you embarrassing questions. You're supposed to take a hand full of change and throw it in the opposite direction from the offending act.

Nature has nothing to do with it...

lol Does your mom watch you have sex? Or is sex something you just don't do?

I don't do it unless my mom is watching.
We're a pretty tight knit family.

Actually, I think you misinterpreted my words or maybe I discombobulated my thoughts, either way ,we got something screwed up somewhere.
I think it was on your end.

Better if you take a bag of candy. If something happens you don't want the little shits to see just yell.. " Anyone want a candy? "

As a parent, I would have to know that my kid would fully understand.. I love my kid and scarring her is not an option so I'd rather wait till a good age and then be available to explain..

What would be the side effects of your kids seeing something they didn't understand?

When I was at school I never understood my maths book but I grew up fine.:thumbup

There's just something about animals having sex while children are watching that doesn't settle right with me. I guess it would depend on the age and maturity of my child. In school we didn't see these things until we were in high school. So I'm going for inappropriate.

I'm not too sure my kid i's a toddler.. I'm going to find that out.. See exactly what she comprehends as far as violence..

I'm sure your kids crying if she saw two people arguing or fighting would be a good indicator that she has naturally been born with a hatred and dislike of violence.:thumbup

Me and her dad did not argue around her when we were together.. She does not see violence..

And how long do you think you can stop her seeing any? Do you blindfold her and stick cotton wool in her ears when you take her out or has she just been extremely lucky?

I don't result to violence, nor do I argue, I talk or I ignore.. My kid is only really around church people and family.. Or places like the park and chuckecheese.. Family oriented places.. No violence involved.. Must be lucky I suppose..

Do you think this will help her when she gets into the real world, unfortunately a nasty place at times, even when she goes to school or do you think that not being aware of violence may hinder her ability to cope with it safely and appropriately? For example, if she has no idea what violence is, she most likely wont be aware of fear and the ability to take precausion, even just run away?
