lol you're so inconsistent.

If you're a Christian, YOU MUST BELIEVE god created everything. Its pretty important to the faith because nothing can exist outside of god's power or creation.

Let me ask you this: Why did god create humans in the first place? Does a perfect god NEED or WANT?

first get a solid definition of perfect, if im a christian the only thing i must believe is that christ was the messiah >_>, i said that i believe that God created things that had potential for corruption did i not?
you're starting to wander off <_<, if you're gonna taunt me about what i've said and what i believe, please at least stay on subject >_>

I know what perfection is

You realize that Christ is god right? So if you follow Christ then you're following god as well.

Everything has the potential to "go bad" however that potential exists because god wants it to be that way. Therefore god enables evil.

what the fuck is up with this shit: >_> <_<

If you dont believe god is perfect why try and do what you think he wants? If he's not perfect there is a very good chance that what he wants is wrong or not the best way to live your life.

I fail to see how you can think he is perfect when his creation (or what you believe is his creation) is clearly imperfect. I also fail to see how anyone can think that someone who commits genocide is pefect.

Eplain what? I thought I put it quite clearly. If you mean genocide, that is what he did (allegedy) by wiping out all humans bar a half dozen or so in the flood.

you know i can't justify God's judgment to you -_-; all the analogies i have for you would compare people to either crops or cattle etc and you'd see something wrong with that >_>, so i guess you got me there

As I said before, maybe genocide is not a bad thing. We don't know what comes after what we call life, if anything. We only have promises. Jesus made it clear, at least to me, that doing everything exactly the way God prefers it is beyond human capability. So what's the alternative?

Personally, I ain't sweatin' it. I believe I will be taken care of (if I'm wrong then God isn't worth following anyway, right?). I believe I have empathy for a reason so I act on mine. I believe that if I have value, others do too; so I have to treat others as valuable because none are less than I. I take the examples and lessons from the stories of Jesus and toss the rest, because the rest are written by men with the opinions and political spins of men.

I'm not religious AT ALL..
I just think that people who do believe in God.. they think things happen for a reason or that if he did too much people would depend on him rather than just doing for themselves
i'm not sure.. i don't know.

I just don't think that it's worth fighting over.. if you believe in something different that's fine ^_^

Dude I am a Christian. I believe in God because I choose to believe in him. Or her. I pray to God a lot to help me with my handicap and things are going good for me.
It struck me funny when you posted the (very true) statement that there's no proof one way or the other. I apologize for the bad joke.
