Prove that I'm not trying to cover anything up? Sure. What makes you think I try to cover things up? I'll refute what you say, as proof, since you're asserting I feel a certain way. That cannot be proven, it's an emotion only I would have. You can only take my word for it.

You only make a couple of posts and then disappear or find an excuse to leave the thread. That is proof enough. I submit your whining as evidence.

I can honestly say you're wrong, I enjoy questioning my beliefs.

But only on your own terms under conditions you set with people you choose to discuss them with....yeah, that is "open minded"...Not! hahaha!

Every time I respond to you, I refute what you say. Are you so stupid you don't see that?

You only do this in your own fantasy world. You asked me, in this thread I think, what is truth? I gave you an answer and you disappeared.

Here it is: read your posts in this thread
http://www.offtopicz.net/showthread.php?81153-How-did-you-know
and make a case that you're not on an anti-atheist crusade.

Why should I "make the case" when you are making the claim?

Oh I wasn't aware you were comfortable being a hypocrite. Sorry then, no bother!
The bug demands proof; does not supply proof.

Oh well, in that case I submit the entire forum as evidence. I am no more on an anti-atheist campaign than many here are on an anti-Christian campaign.

If there is a Unitarian Universalist church in your area then you should check it out. About a fourth of the members at my UU church are atheists and are open about it. People there are not concerned about your god belief. We are concerned with your character and how you treat others. Humanist values are taught. We take the best from all religions and leave the rest. And we proudly fly the GLBT rainbow flag. Although only a few members are gay.

Thanks for pointing this out. There is one right down the street in walking distance. I might check it out.

There are a few cities in my state which might have some open churches, but I doubt my direct area does. I live in the middle of a very Polish and Italian American Big 3 families area, very religious, and I see more jeebus stickers on cars than license plates. When I move to Canada I look forward to branching out and seeking different groups. It's great you've found a place like that.
There is one in Troy

Also one if Farmington Hills which says it welcomes anybody.

You submit the whole forum, along with the fact you think people are on an anti christian campaign, as evidence you are not on an anti atheist campaign?

...sure you don't want to rethink that one? :24:

Why should I re-think it if it is true. I am no more on an anti-atheist campaign than many here are on an anti-Christian campaign.

I didn't see where you answered my question in that last post. It wasn't rhetorical. One can't ask new questions without addressing old ones.

Much whining about answering questions...

I'm not so much looking to make points, but gather information in order to better understand someone's motives and opinions for the sake of debate. You didn't offer any.

A claim to be innocently looking to understand for the sake of debate....

There are, as surely you know, many definitions. I asked yours, and you're too fearful to answer. I don't blame you. You're obtuse; run along and swat with others.

Asking for definition of truth. Name calling.

Oh well then, why didn't you say so. I like this definition:

truth 1. A statement proven to be or accepted as true.

I provide an answer to her question...

Panacea then runs away without further "debate" that she pretended to be interested in. Hmmm...interesting.....no hilarious! :24: :24: :24: Such hypocrisy!
