Why are you guys talking about a "gay gene"? It doesn't have to be a gene for a person to be born gay. While in the womb developing, a imbalance of X and Y chromosomes can alter a person's sexuality.


There is also anthropological evidence that has been studied to suggest that homosexuality is a natural human state.

I am all into DNA in school as much of what I am learning about relates to DNA mutation. I'd be interested in reading the links if you have them to both of these claims. Thanks.

Well now you're going on a different subject here. Of course lives can be impacted by traumas...and it can affect relationships and the way we act sexually...but there's no proof or evidence that i have seen where it can turn someone gay.

Sexual behaviors, relationships, fine. Those are not the same thing as sexual orientation. I'm completely gay, but that's not to say I've never or will never in the future sleep with a woman. That's a behavior.

All I want to see is some sort of research or similar that backs up the correlation between homosexuality and childhood sexual abuse. In general, even. I'm open to hearing about it from anyone here, but I'd just like to see some proof, which is the basis of a good argument anyway.
