Gay Adoption

I have only just read this whole thread, so I will try keep all my comments in this one post...

Firstly, birthcontrol goes both ways!

Secondly, I know Freespeech has already debated some instances of how a person could find themselves a single parent even after planning a baby. I will add one more situation to that... What about death? My mother is a single parent, because my father DIED... should she have put her kid up for adoption so she could be raised by a 2 parent family, simply because she lost her husband?

Open your mind!

Sounds more like you are homophobic... Perhaps you are afraid you are gay too ;)

C'mon, are you serious? Next time I will try to cover all instances of a certain situation. What the point of my comment was supposed to be was that a child is better off in a male/female situation then woman/woman, man/man, which is the original thread topic. I won't even debate with you about the birth control issue because even though it is the responsibility of both, believe me, I agree with you there, it is ultimately up to the woman to make that final decision of whether to go through with it or not. If she closed her legs when no birth control was present, it would stop the problem. But whatever.

How was what you quoted saying that I am homophobic? You don't know me. I merely stated my opinion on gay adoption, not on "being gay". Let me clarify something for you liberals. Just because someone doesn't agree with the "gay" lifestyle doesn't make them homophobic. If your white and choose not to date any other race because thats just your preference does that make you racist? I hope your last statement here in this quote was meant to be funny.

No, steve (see her bit in blue, below) - she was not saying you are homophobic - see, this is something you kp doing - you dnt read properly then you jump down ppl's throats - you can't do that. It was in response to CM!!!

You say again, to contradict yourself - If she closed her legs when no birth control was present, it would stop the problem. But whatever.

Yet you said before it is down to both - Ugh???? Fact is, if he'd also a) used protection himself and or b) kept his dick in his pants (underwear that is over here) it wld also stop the problem.

Are you anti-women at all, cos it sure does come across that way?

If you are incapable of differenciating between several quotes, it really isn't my problem. The homophobic observation was in reply to CM who doesn't even TALK to gay people. ;)

As for "if she closed her legs when no birth control was present, it would stop the problem."... what about if men kept their dick in their pants? You really seem to think it's all up to the women... men like you contribute to the high numbers of abortions women feel compeled to have.

That is a closed minded statement! Do you have kids?
Children add a different aspect to your life that your partner could never fill.

How long should they wait? A week, a month, a year, a lifetime? Should Hetro couples also wait?

Life is unpredictable, take care of your happiness in the moment, don't postpone it... tomorrow might never come.

Reproductive success... more closed minded crap!
What about infertile couples? Should they not have the right to adopt either? Your god obviously made them infertile for a reason, right?

Personally, I have no issues with gay people, or with them adopting! I say go for it!
Reproductive sucess supports the darwins theory of being 'fit, which goes hand in hand with survival of the fittest. the ones who reproduce are better suited for the environment. And like you said, infirtile couples also do not have reproductive sucess.

When it comes down to it, the united states is christian country like it or not. And also, like it or not the christian religeon isnt too kind to gay's. I mean yeah, eventhough i dont even think they should be allowed to live, they still get to live and get married. they will also be able to adopt kids soon. no one can stop it

Gosh, what a compationate Christian you are! Doesn't your bible, and your god teach you tolerance and forgivness? What about not judging?

Thank goodness I am not a Christian. And I am also not a US citizen. Guess that makes me an evil sinner.

Yeah, CM what terrible people gays are, look at at the hurt they cause to people, the're much more evil than those good compationate Christians who took part in inquisions and wars, killing and torturing people who have different views to them! If you're so Christian then why do you vandalise peoples property with your graffitti? I can't see any Christian church looking too well on that!

No im not homophobic. Homophobic means i have a phobia for homosexuals. A phobia is a fear, and i do not 'fear' homosexuals. And i take bac what i said also, i do not 'hate' homosexuals. Hate is strong word's, and i dont want gay people flattering themselvs with it. so i Highly Dislike gay people.

Hahahahaha, oh man. I'm barely even going to add to this, because it will just be banging my head against the wall.

However, I will say this: on paper, Matt and I are all ready to have a baby! We're going to decorate the bedroom and hopefully have our little one before August. :)

Ah, Lel and Matt.

I am so pleased and happy for you both.

I felt a bit low last night through something else, so I have only just seen this post. This has cheered me up a bit though, cos this is very positive, happy, well-deserved news!!!
