I really enjoyed The Girl in the Fireplace. It's one of my favourite episodes. I cried when the Doctor went back and Madame Du Pompadour had died.

Undoubtedly that was the saddest moment of the episode. If only he'd remembered that time passes more quickly on the French side, things may have been different.

I think she would have made an excellent assistant.

I loved that episode

My favourite episode of the new Doctor Who (2005 onwards) has to be Blink. Have you seen that one with the weeping angels? It sent chills down my spine lol.

To be honest, I cry at almost every single episode. There's always something.

I love Blink. One of my favourites :)

Never say never, Sky. They keep getting put down, and they keep finding ways to come back!

But the nice thing about the Doctor Who universe is, they can just invent a cool reason why they're back. No one need ever die!

I'm going to vote no to crossovers :ninja

I love how it's possible to bring back old characters though, by being somewhere new in their timeline. The whole thing with River Song and how her and the Doctor are constantly meeting out of time
we've already seen her death after all
is pretty cool.

It's like they say; in scy-fy, anything can happen.
Even Rose could come back again.

There's supposedly not going to be any Daleks this time.:(

I think I'm okay with that. I like the daleks, but they featured pretty heavily in the last few series, so I'm happy to have a bit of break from them.

I hope they don't
bring Rose back
though I have seen on another site, them discussing it may be a possibility because of a Tweet one of the writers posted.

I really think she is overrated.

I re-watched Saturday's Doctor Who episode and a few things caught my attention.

Why was the Doctor trying wildly to get Amy and Rory's attention by cropping up everywhere? And surely there would be 2 Tardises? The younger Doctor's Tardis and the Old Doctor's Tardis?

Maybe the doctor was trying to get their attention because he had his Tardis taken? Possibly by the Silence monsters (after all out of sight, out of mind so maybe he doesn't remember they have it?)

EDIT: Also Amy and Rory have those black marks all over their bodies? Anyone want to speculate what they might be? I think it might be everytime they see the Silence...

I didn't even think about that, they didn't even mention what should happen to his Tardis once he died, and you'd think the characters might have thought of it.

As for the black marks - they remind me a lot of that episode on the spaceship orbiting the black hole? Where David Tennant met the devil, people in that episode had marks on them as well.

I love her but even I don't really want them to bring her back.
They already did it once, so twice would be a little overkill, but it would be kinda interesting to see if it meant that David Tennant could guest star too.
