Thanks, Audraa, for intervening as there seems to be gross misunderstanding between me and retro..
which was turning 'weather' unnecessarily hot. :)

dance puppet, dance

Now maybe you can respond to the things that I say without putting words in my mouth, making things up, or outright lying.

Most Muslim priests are as bad as Christian priests....
Fatwa's from Egypt are not accepted beyond Egypt or perhaps by some surrounding countries....

Pope is held in great esteem all over the world and even Muslims take his word as an expression of entire Christian world. Being not a Catholic doesn't mar the reputation of the Pope.....or the Catholic sect.
To each his own....

let us not talk ill of anyone if we don't recognize him as our own....everybody has his right to his things...

It takes a Ph.D to understand my English ...because it's not as simple as some write it;)

Do you actually know what wistful means? Because nothing that I have said even comes close to expressing the meaning of that word. Here's the definition for you.

full of yearning or desire tinged with melancholy; also : inspiring such yearning

Now please point out where I've been, "full of yearning or desire tinged with melancholy".

I'm also not the one making the personal attacks here. I called you a petulant little child, because that's the manner in which you're choosing to behave.

I never insinuated that Muslim priests had any authority over Muslim governments. I asked the question since you seem to believe that the Pope has some sort of control over western governments.

Pope is held in great esteem all over the world and even Muslims take his word as an expression of entire Christian world. Being not a Catholic doesn't mar the reputation of the Pope.....or the Catholic sect.
To each his own....

The Pope being treated with respect due to his position does not mean that he speaks for Christianity as a whole. He speaks for the Catholic church, nobody else. What other people choose to take his word as is their own prerogative.

let us not talk ill of anyone if we don't recognize him as our own....everybody has his right to his things...

Another nonsensical statement from you.

It takes a Ph.D to understand my English ...because it's not as simple as some write it;)

You mix words and use the wrong word in the wrong context. That's not even mentioning the fact that you lack the ability to be coherent or use proper grammar and/or syntax. It doesn't take a Ph.D to realize that either English is not your first language, and you haven't taken the time to learn how to properly express yourself in the language via text, or English is your first language, and you weren't taught properly.

you can be very provocative at times, that warning was aimed at both of you

Retro started it all....by calling me a 'hypocrite and a liar' ....frankly i didn't want to respond to his
childish curiosity but he's always trying to hang by my balls ! Good that Audraa stepped in and warned retro
after he laid his personal remarks on me....take another look at the previous post.

I am not provocative but quite patient with retro who's bent upon name calling rather than ask for clarification
if he couldn't understand my stance or I relayed weak explanation or said something incorrect inadvertently.

and I am not a liar and don't like his calling me as such...
and BTW it is none of his business to ask me personal questions ...I am not inviting him for a free lunch!

If you can't follow my English don't read it! Simple enuf.

Pope is my favorite personality and I like him sooo much!!

when a desire is not fulfilled you become wistful....

I can sense some melancholia here...

I'm sorry that you can't handle being told the truth. I stated that you were a hypocrite because you said one thing in one thread and another thing entirely in another thread in order to further your own agenda. Which is the definition of a hypocrite, I even posted the definition for you so you could understand it. I also called you a liar because you chose to claim that you didn't say something, when in fact you actually did. That's lying, forgetful or not, you stated a falsehood as fact.

Oh, and I love the childish, "HE STARTED IT" comment... are you going to go cry to your mom that I'm being unfair by pointing out the things that you've said?

I am not provocative but quite patient with retro who's bent upon name calling rather than ask for clarification if he couldn't understand my stance or I relayed weak explanation or said something incorrect inadvertently.

I'm not getting into a he-said she-said, but it should be obvious to anyone that reads this thread to see where name calling was coming from.

What personal questions have I asked exactly? I'm genuinely curious. Also, this is the discussion portion of the forum, and it's perfectly acceptable to ask someone personal questions in order to gain an understanding of why they're saying the things that they are. If you don't want to be asked personal questions, don't post here. It's hardly an offensive thing to do, but you apparently take it as such.

Also, please take the time to learn what idioms mean before you choose to use them. Your claim of me asking personal questions has nothing to do with a "free lunch".

What desire hasn't been fulfilled? :24: You amuse me, nothing more... I find it hilarious that you dance exactly the way that I want you to.

Your English is nonsensical and incoherent. Please do yourself, and everyone else, a favor and actually pay attention to the things that you type if you want to be taken seriously.

Actually, I've been told that I am very articulate and artful in how I choose to word my statements. That doesn't always shine through around here because I'm often in a hurry to say what I need to say. But if you were to take a poll from everyone here, I'm sure that the overwhelming majority would agree with my claim that your English skills leave a lot to be desired.

Dancing is an awfully good exercise.... ever danced with a girl?

Well I'm glad that I'm keeping you in shape... now keep dancing for me puppet.

I actually have danced with a girl before, how about you? I'm not entirely certain what that question has to do with anything, but hey. Oh, and why is it okay for you to ask personal questions of me, but you were offended when I supposedly asked them of you? Seems awfully hypocritical to me....
