I think people who kick dogs are scumbags!

(I can change the subject too! Woo woo!)l

I know you can but as long as one makes interlocutory remarks in the course of discussion with the innocent understanding of reaching some concordance or result there doesn\t seem need to change the topic..or does it??

Burqa is more of a fashion than a religious need....
Do you have burqa designers in UK??

isn't he a Christian too??

Catholicism is a Christian faith... but not all Christians are Catholic. The Pope is not the head of all Christians, he is the most important person in that version of Christianity.

Nobody has claimed that here... you're the one that was claiming that the Pope was the head of the Christian church as a whole. Good God dude, you seriously don't pay any attention to anything whatsoever. Why do you even bother trying to have a discussion? You make things up, you lie, you contradict yourself constantly, and you don't ever really even say anything. You're an amusement, but you haven't said anything that even warrants consideration as anything even remotely valid. I almost feel bad for you with how completely inept you seem to be.

Also, if english is your first language... then I don't even know what to say about your atrocious grammar. But if it isn't, you might try to become a bit more fluent in it, because it the aforementioned grammar and syntax make your claims and arguments that much easier to dismiss.

I'm not flustered... or do you actually know what that word means? Wagging my tail? What context would that make any sense whatsoever? Like a...? Like a what may I ask.

No, the Pope is considered to be the "apex authority" on Catholicism. Do you understand the difference? Catholicism is a sect within the Christian religion, that has different view than say protestants, non-denominational, Pentecostals, Lutherans, etc., etc., etc. The Catholic church isn't the be all and end all of Christianity, as much as they'd like to, and have tried to, position themselves as such.

You responses make me feel like i am wasting my energy in a teach school on someone .. kinda dumb student...who has no mind to listen or comprehend simple English!

i know Christians are divided into many sects but the universally recognized sect is Catholicism and their head, the Pope...my allusion to Egypt was intended to clear your confusion about declarations made by some Muslim Mufti's (or Muslim Popes!) in certain religious matters which are not recognized by Muslims in general ..but you pick them up to support your argument which consequently becomes invalid.

If it was not the Pope who gave his verdict against cloning, for instance, then who else did? and why Western govts. have accepted his POV as the Christian head Mufti ??

Chill out, boy, you need to grow up before trying to pick on others!

First of all... does that come in understandable English? I also love how you have to resort to petty personal attacks when you don't have a leg to stand on.

No, you are incorrect. The Catholic church is the most prominent sect of Christianity, not the head of it. The Pope has no authority over what I do and don't believe. I have serious issues with the tenants of the Catholic faith, particularly having to use a priest as a go-between, the ritual prayers, and a number of other things. I also haven't said anything about Muslim religious leaders... so please don't put words in my mouth. I've talked about political issues, which is what this whole discussion was about.

I find it pretty amusing that you just tried to invalidate my points based on things that I didn't say. :24:

I'm a Christian and I don't particularly have an issue with cloning. There are plenty of Christians out there who feel the same way as well. There are Christian leaders that feel the same way. You fail to understand the fact that different sects of Christianity do not have power over any others. Just because Catholic church says that birth control is bad doesn't mean that no Christians use birth control. The Pope saying something doesn't mean that all Christians are going to adopt that point of view.

As far as the governments issue goes... are you claiming that the Pope has control over the way that western governments take sides on an issue? Then wouldn't it stand to reason that prominent Muslim religious leaders would have the same sort of effect on Muslim governments? Or does it not work that way because Muslim governments are good and western governments are bad (which is the impression that I've gotten from you around here).

Chill out, boy, you need to grow up before trying to pick on others!

That's about the funniest thing that I've heard all day long. You do realize that I played you for the first couple of pages of this thread until you said exactly what I wanted you to, right? In addition, if you're going to call me "boy", then I'm going to refer to you as what you really are... a petulant little child with a chip on his shoulder.
