Should the U.S. of A. stop foreign imports/exports of any and all goods, and make due with things on its own soil in order to create jobs at home and stimulate this economy?

Hmmm, economics isn't really my strong subject but I would tend toward the middle ground of a mix of both. I mean, take the car industry for instance. What's the point of blocking imports when American cars in general are rather crap? That's just going to create monopolies because of the lack of competition and the motor industry would end up ripping off American people because they could push prices as high as they like.

Ah, ok. Mainly I can be quite obsessive about certain subjects while completely oblivious to others, I can be very untactful, I just always say it as I see it, regardless of the circumstances, I'm not very good at reading peoples body language or telling their mood. I'm quite black and white about things. I'm very literal about things and when talking.

thanks for the reply. I do not know anybody with that syndrome. I am guessing that there can be other symptoms that some display??
