I used to go to church a lot and I went to many different churches. Not once did a pastor do a background check on me. He wouldn't have found anything but he didn't know that.

I don't believe in sainthood. But homosexuals are good people. They deserve the same freedom in our country as everyone else. To deny them the same freedom is oppression which is the same as hatred. The religious right is the group who wishes to deny them the freedom to legally marry the one they love. Which brings up the question in the OP.

But in Christianity, is a man and a woman or man, man or even woman, woman relationship accepted? First of all, the whole meaning of sexuality is someone's choice in having sex. Forgive me, but is gay sex frowned on or is it accepted as OK? There is no hatred towards people who are gay, rather towards their sexuality. In your eyes you see no wrong, but in Christians' eyes it is wrong. All scientists have done is just marked up the similarities in chromosomes or whatever they think is right, I am no scientist but even I can see flaws in what gay groups then tend to say 'oh that means it is normal'. I haven't even heard it come from scientists themselves, rather they want to be no part of the argument themselves

And who is denying them of their freedom? I don't see masses of Christian groups marching outside gay pubs/bars/clubs. If gays think their sexuality is normal, why the need for gay pride marches? You don't see these marches in the black community or other ethnic minorities (after all they are also a persecuted group)

The biggest problem with your posts in these threads is that you make up stuff out of the blue. For instance, your definition of sin.

So here's a starting point, step away from this thread and actually do research on Christianity and other religions etc. Look up Christian doctrine and make sure you really understand it. If you have a question about Christianity or anything that's been really bugging you, Google it, and try do some research on it. See what others say and try to make a conclusion.

I haven't responded to your posts in a while, but I remember constantly trying to correct your misconceptions and wrong info in the threads that you post in and start.

I'm not trying to say this to be mean. All I'm saying is, it's hard to argue with someone when they're arguing against something that they don't completely understand.
