Nothing is 100% effective ALL the time against pregnancy, only remaining a virgin. EVERYTHING can fail at ANY given time. Mistakes happen as well, memory fails a person(This doesn't make them a horrible person), etc. Abortion won't be going away any time soon. no, nothing is 100% effective, i honestly truly believe that, but if thats so and sooo many women know this, than why only depend on one type of birth control....a baby is not something that just slips your mind, and birth control is one of the only ways to prevent it so why just let birth control slip your mind..its simple..be repsonsible

In my personal opinion, I find it HORRIBLE for a woman to commit murder...and that's what abortion is...

I guess I feel so strongly about this because while all my brothers and sisters have multiple children, I myself am told I will never bear children. Before this news I was still against abortion, but relented in life or death situations...now I cannot see killing an unborn child for ANY reason...I would GLADLY give my life so that my child would have the chance to live and grow...

No offense but I don't think you could 100% say that unless you've been through it.

I knew some would not think I could go through with it. Peter, just believe me when I say that I KNOW that a child that is wanted and can be cared for by 2 parents who want it is the best for the child. I know that isn't always possible. But MY child would be given the best I could give it, including being raised by someone other than me. Giving it to an adoptive couple would be the ultimate gift I could provide.

For the record though, I do want beautiful babies within a perfect relationship someday. I won't do it alone. I'm not strong enough.

I'm not saying you couldn't do it, many do. I'm just saying that a huge emotional part of your life like that really can't be planned what you'd do before hand. I'd like to think that I could run into a burning building, risking my life to save a helpless trapped child but it's impossible to know whether I really could or not faced with that situation and the unusual emotions and fear which would be running through my brain.
