I've already stated before how I feel, but since this has came back up, I'll mention it again. I am 110% pro-choice. If we control abortions, what's next? What position we can have sex in? What brand of condom to use? What type of birth control to use?

Think of it like this- Most of you here are all for gay rights, am I correct? You think it's non of the public's business, and gays should be allowed to marry, and be respected, and have equal rights(I can't believe that Leland isn't here for this part). Well, abortions are the same way. It is NONE of the public's business what a woman does to her body, ESPECIALLY if it involves what goes on inside her body.

you dont just GET PREGNEANT, there is so many ways to prevent it. There is more than just a few options. Yeah its being careless, Did you know there is only a certain time when women are most fertile? i bet you did, so why shoudlt the girl protect her self..if this is something she really really doesnt want truly deep down inside..than she will prevent it other than that shes just asking for it.

Condoms break, birth control fails, people forget. People can and HAVE just GOTTEN PREGNANT, as you put it. It's not hard to make the mistake.

A boyfriend and girlfriend go on a mind-blowing(Blowing...haha, I love irony) date. They get a bit riled up, go home, and either he forgets a condom, it breaks, or she didnt' take her birth control, whatever. They go at it, and blam! Nine months later, they're parents. It happens all the time.

Yes, there is a time when women are MOST fertile, but it doesn't mean they aren't any other time. What is a girl going to do when that time comes?

But on a more serious note, abortion isn't "killing innocent babies". Think of yourself in the situation. You have sex, and your boyfriend gets you pregnant. You either can't support it financially, can't take care of it, and you don't want to go through the pain of childbirth. What else are you going to do?

I know at least 3 girls that got pregnant when they were on birth control and their bf's were using condoms. soooo

I just have to bring up one other thing. I don't remember who said it, maybe it was AEF, but somebody very nicely pointed out something on this subject before. If you're anti-abortion, then you should be against birth control, because birth control is basically killing the little sperm cells and preventing possible life!

Nothing is 100% effective ALL the time against pregnancy, only remaining a virgin. EVERYTHING can fail at ANY given time. Mistakes happen as well, memory fails a person(This doesn't make them a horrible person), etc. Abortion won't be going away any time soon.
