9/11 Attacks -- TOO CREEPY!

watch the movie Number 23
It was like the Hollywood version of 'Pi', and sucked accordingly.

Pi, however, is a great film that is kind of about this sort of thing - obsession with trying to find something which may or may not be there.

There's a great quote in it which I think of whenever I conspiracy theories rear their head...

"You want to find the number 216 in the world? You will be able to find it everywhere!
216 steps from your street corner to your front door.
216 seconds you spend riding on the elevator.
When your mind becomes obsessed with anything, you will filter everything else out and find that thing everywhere. 300, 2400, 50, 22, whatever.
You've chosen 216 and you will find it everywhere in nature.
But Max! As soon as you discard scientific rigour, you are no longer a mathematician. You're a numerologist."

Meh, more conspiracy crap. Woohoo. I don't really care what happened. The fact is, it happened. All I know is that the government, no matter how corrupt and crappy it is, did NOT cause 9/11. the 9/11 attacks not only ruined people's lives, it damaged New York's economy. Everyone that worked there but survived lost their jobs. And the Towers were very important as part of the NY Economy. The government may not care about us, but they do care about money. And 9/11 has cost the US a lot of money, trust me.

So, all you conspirators can just take your conspiracies and shove 'em up your rectum. Oh wait, maybe it's not really a rectum, but a wormhole to another dimension! :willy_nilly::ninja

Seriously folks. Stop wasting peoples' time with your bogus conspiracy crap.

Since you choose to come in here with that arrogant attitude. I'm going to ask you to prove what you said.

So you know the government didn't do it. OK. Show me the facts you obviously have, that prove the government didn't do it.

And just for you info. I'm neither advocating that the government did or didn't, as I'm in no position to know all the facts. But since you claim to know, enlighten us please.

So, not solid facts, but a well-made point, if I do say so myself. If you want to get all snobby though, no, I do not have any proven facts that the government did not cause 9/11. But I don't see any reason for them to purposely harm the US economy like 9/11 did. The government does stupid things, but not THAT stupid.

I just wonder why people find it so hard to believe that a group of Muslim terrorists could take over an American plane and fly it into a symbolically important building?

It was obviously fairly easy to carry out, they certainly had the motive... I mean, come on. At least if it was these points that were being disputed, these theories might have some credence.

Pudding Time, can you unequivocally prove that the world isn't flat?

Do you know how much money Dick Chaney has made since 911? How about Larry Silverstein? And other companies linked to the Bush family that also profited from 911, like Carlyle Group?

The only reason I bring up anything to which you would consider a conspiracy is to make people think. Don't just believe one side because it makes sense or because someone of importance said so. I want people to look at it from all angles.

It's not hard to believe Muslims took over those planes. But that also doesn't count out any involvement by US government. There have been lots of good questions brought up over the 911 attacks. How can you dismiss them without any facts?

But you don't have a single shred of solid evidence to prove the government was involved. And I doubt anyone ever will.
