You too!

Ps- this really does not seem like arguing to me, just a "spirited" discussion. ;)

I don't believe in a god, well at least not a good one. Sure, it's to "test" us.. but why would someone let someone die because of rape? Why would god let millions of people starve and go without a home. If it's to make others be thankful for what they have it's just selfish and unbelievably cruel.

If there was a god this world wouldn't be in the shit it is in now and people wouldn't have to lose things that mean so much to them. People wouldn't have to feel pain in the way some people do. Their wouldn't be crime on the street and their wouldn't be drout or starvation or disease.

Why would someone who watches over the world let any of that happen? Sure, the world is big, but if god is all that the people and the bible and whatever else there is say god is, god wouldn't let people hurt so much because of so many different reasons. People who do believe cover it up and don't accept it for what it really is. And if they do believe in god, how can they possibly think god is a good person?

Just because you don't believe in a God, it doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to use it in a sentence, specially not when it's a conversation about the almighty. It was a question that was to be debated and people like to show their views of why and why not.

It's like saying, if you don't believe that fairy's are real, you can't talk about fairys.. Maybe not the best thing to pick but you get the idea. I have had 4 hours sleep in 2 days I'm allowed to be a little bit nuts.

As a firm Agnostic who believes we can only guess about post death, I'm not selling this as truth. Nor am I selling any particular concept of God, especially the one put forth by established religions. The term "God" can simply mean some kind of organized force that has some bearing on post-physical life existence, if there is such a thing. And if there is a God, we really don't know about any "rules" or even if the entity called God is even aware of us on a personal level. Obviously I want there to be an afterlife, but I'm not going to commit to anything until I have more information. :)

For you consideration- What if this experience we have on Earth is only a very small part of our total existence? What if we move onto a spiritual plane after physical death and/or what if we return to a physical existence multiple times? The purpose could possibly give us opportunities to improve ourselves or to learn what is really important? Would that change your view a little? If you like science fiction, you could think of it as something like the Matrix. We are living in a simulation and after we die, we head down the rabbit hole, except in this case the rabbit hole represents the real reality or a different reality.

If you consider the concept of a spiritual existence, what actually is important during this life? How much money you made? How many material possessions you acquired? Or how you treat your fellow human? Are you kind or cruel? Selfish or caring? If you view the possibility of a spiritual existence, than how much money you made or how cush of an existence you led may mean nothing as compared to how you relate to others.
