Of course it didn't say "Blacks" but that's what the readers are to infer. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see what the intent of this parody was. It was most definitely created as a racial joke.
To read it and laugh does not make you a racist, but if it doesn't give you even a moment of pause, you might want to question that...

The original story that circulated didn't have a photo with it. And again, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know exactly who they are referring to.

Yes, DEAR. I'm very well aware that slavery is not the only reason. Did I say anywhere that I thought the only reason for racism was slavery? The only ignorant one here seems to be you.
Again, like I said in a previous post: I know plenty of people who speak "ebonics" and give their children "black names". I knew white kids in high school that had "black names". I know Cubans that speak ebonics. And for anyone that wants to question my knowledge of cultural diversity and tell me that I'm an ignorant racist, try living in Miami a day and not question your preconceived notions of what people should be.

To be honest, it's over the top PC whites getting all menstrual about it, I've had several black people find it funny without seeing anything racial about it.
Felt the need to explain myself? You and the other one are picking out bits and pieces. Did you even read the article Janie put up from snopes which specifically mentioned ebonics? I hadn't brought it up till she posted that. Either way, I'm done with this thread. Y'all can argue about it all you want, I know I'm not ignorant and I'm not going to try and play nice with people being ridiculous.

I must say I have since removed it from my Facebook as well. Some one commented (sorry if this offends) 'haha fucking niggers.' I know this person very well and 100% know it was a bad joke but still I'm sure there are people out there that look at it that way which was my reason behind taking it down. Whilst I look at it and laugh at the stupidity of people (from all races), there are people who look at it and laugh at 'stupid black people.' or people who may now think I'm laughing at black people when I'm not.
Exactly my point. While we may not be racist or laugh at it because we are, it definitely feeds those views.
Sure, I can read it and move on without getting my panties in a twist, but you won't find me passing it around either.
Like I said before, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the effect that this was going for.
