I found this explanation that puts it very well.

I just finished reading that same article before I saw this. Quite illuminating but it's like banging your head against a brick wall for all the good it will do.

As I said, dig deep enough and you will find anything offensive, your post has no bearing. Humour on stupidity is funny. or are we in a civilisation where we cannot laugh or joke about anything for fear of insulting someone.
if thats the case, please remove all posts from this forum, as I could easily "dig deep enough" to find something insulting.
"vive la difference, embrace humour, embrace differences, and take the fucking chip off your shoulder.." - anon (black, white, green... it doesnt matter)
So it's racist because it "sounds" black? Isn't that in and of itself racist?
No, the author made sure to give the impression to the readers that it was a black girl. This was no accident, it was clearly the intent of the piece.
Louisiana, the name, the phase used "cause the dash don't be silent" (ebonics) and then if that wasn't enough he uses axes in his closing statement. Now that he has painted a nice picture for the reader, one of a poor ignorant black girl, he mentions the fact that "they" live among us, vote and breed... all of which were distinct problems in the past. Those fucking niggers are moving into our neighborhoods, they're allowed to vote and those mother fuckers father as many kids as they can for the welfare, right?
Yes, the piece is racist and to glean over that fact is just plain ignorance
its still a pathetic splelling of a name:nod:
I think everyone needs a breather
I guess people are going to have to agree to disagree. In my opinion and in others here, there is no racism at all in this picture/caption. I find it quite sad that some have to find racism in things that simply arent there, what hope do we have..
Yes the wording implies she is black, so what? if someone wrote someting down to imply someone had a geordie accent, is this racism? quite simply NO its not. Anyway, I shall leave you bicker over something so so trivial and non-existant.

I honestly never thought it was.I agree 100%... but if you look into it, it's not even a true story. :dunno

Its not the accent, or even the body of the "article"...that IS funny....its the WORDS in the last line...in context with the rest of the "article" that makes it racist. Cut out that last line, and you have a funny piece.
I dont know how you guys CANT see that....as I said, I DID find it funny until that last line....thats where the true intent shone through for me.
To you, the intent was something racist.
To me, the intent was "there really are idiots out there."
It all depends on your view of the world, I suppose.
