I just finished reading that same article before I saw this. Quite illuminating but it's like banging your head against a brick wall for all the good it will do.

You miss the whole point of "this" joke.
There doesn't need to be a picture of a black girl for you to KNOW they are talking about a black girl. The joke would have still been funny leaving out the vernacular they used to paint the picture of a poor uneducated black girl.
Actually lets just make this easier for most to understand...
Ask yourself if you would be comfortable passing this out to a group of black people you don't know. Even if there wasn't a picture of a black girl on it, are you so sure that it isn't racist that you would have no problem passing it out to a group of black people?

No, the author made sure to give the impression to the readers that it was a black girl. This was no accident, it was clearly the intent of the piece.
Louisiana, the name, the phase used "cause the dash don't be silent" (ebonics) and then if that wasn't enough he uses axes in his closing statement. Now that he has painted a nice picture for the reader, one of a poor ignorant black girl, he mentions the fact that "they" live among us, vote and breed... all of which were distinct problems in the past. Those fucking niggers are moving into our neighborhoods, they're allowed to vote and those mother fuckers father as many kids as they can for the welfare, right?

Yes, the piece is racist and to glean over that fact is just plain ignorance

exactly, in a previous post, these "they live among us" posts have been doing the rounds on the internet for ages, this is the only time ive seen a (quite frankly childish and narrow minded) view on something so obvious in its context.

as for the last line, that so many seem to be pissing their pants about, stupid people live amongst us... you all know one, but its not ok if they are black? grow up and move on..
