College Football thread

Holy shit, I didn't realize that Auburn was 0 - 8 for conference games. I thought 1 of their wins was a conference game. WOW!!! This is why I tell Bama fans not to get too comfortable. Wasn't too awful long ago that Auburn was the team to beat.

Worst record in 60 years. Never since joining the SEC have we gone winless. The entire staff was fired this afternoon. Now we see where we go from here.

Oh wow, I hadn't seen that yet. The whole staff, huh? And TN fired Dooley a few weeks ago. And I think someone else fired their whole staff but it was some unranked SEC team, I believe. Damn.

It should be a great matchup or a sad blowout. Whoever has their game on will take it.

It should be a good game. Both teams should be amped up after the season they've had.

Maulds says he's not worried considering Coach Richt never wins an important game. I say don't count my boys out just yet. Actually, best thing that could happen would be Bama going in cocky, thinking they had it in the bag. Bama fans didn't think they had to worry about Johnny Football, either, IJS

all these new Notre Dame fans coming out of the woods.......never understood the fly by night fan....

I cannot STAND a fair-weathered fan. I pissed A LOT of people off last year during one game (I can't remember which one now) where people were posting that they were going to quit watching the Georgia game b/c they were frustrated. Win or lose, my boys are my boys...and I always watch until the bitter end. I always think it must be really discouraging for the guys to be on the field playing and see the stands start to empty. Maybe in reality they don't even notice...but I always think about that, LOL
