Is Jesus your personal beast of burden?

I have no idea what you're talking about in regards to Africa and witches, the bible I read mentions nothing of the sort. No offence, but you sound like one of the preachers you despise so much only from the other side of the fence. I won't allow you or anybody else to bully me into believing anything else but what I believe and like our good friend posted earlier, it'll only come between us if we make it personal. So I ask you.....is that what you're doing?

I fight foolish ideas. Not people.

I also believe in reciprocity. I answered your questions now please go back and answer mine so that I can know where you are coming from.

Hey, I believe in miracles....I am undergoing a miracle?? Magic is a petty thing!!”
Don’t be an idiot.

“BTW who sets the rule in a debate?? Not you of course...nor even me
Yes I do in this case. I am here to teach, not learn.

I don't think anybody died due to so-called literalism!”

Then you are poorly educated about religious history.

Stop making offensive personal remarks and say what you want to say on the topic....
certainly we cannot agree and that doesn't mean we set on personal B.S!

You remind me of this\

It went like this...

The United States of America... Love it or Leave it...''

In order to teach sweetheart, you must first have people around you willing to learn......know what I mean?

No, he seems to believe in 'coercive teaching' :hehe:

enjoy this..

Consider the city slicker who stops his large expensive car on a country road

and looks about in confusion. He notices a young farmhand leaning

on a fence and calls to him, "Hey, do you know how far it is to Shrewsbury?"

The farmhand thinks about it and says, "Don't know."
"Well then, do you know the best way to get there?"
Again, the farmhand thinks a bit, scratches his head and says, "Don't know."
"Look, can you just tell me where the nearest gas station is so I can pick up a map?"
"Afraid I don't know that either."

Frustrated, the man in the car snaps, "You don't know much do you?"
"Well," says the farmhand, "I'm not the one who's lost."

As far as the debate is concerned....no thanks.

Ok that's it. It's people like you, sir, who make debating this issue such a nightmare.....I for one am done with your nonsense!

Do you think that I've never questioned Him? Well I have and I've done my exploring and as much researching as I know what to do with.....some things, you only know in your heart, and there's no other way to explain it. I'm not saying that I'm better than you, on the contrary, I'm probably a whole lot worse for knowing what I know and not being blessed with the ability to reach those who don't believe......I've tried and God forgive me, I've finally given up. I'll never deny Him and I'll never miss an opportunity to tell others that I believe....but I won't roll up my sleeves, point my finger and preach to you about God. Soooooo, worst case scenerio, what does that make me......a sinner, and aren't we all?

Everyone finds their own path and that is fine by me.

As I've said, I don't believe any intelligent God would hold it against his children if they question and in my heart, I don't feel there is any requirement to commit to a belief in this life time if you don't see a reason to commit. And as sincerely as I can say it, the reason to commit would not be fear of punishment. Is someone a good Christian because they follow the rules for fear of punishment? Or are they just good rule followers? Would it be better to live a certain moral standard without threat because it is the right thing to do? The only way the latter can happen is if we as entities are allowed to grow without threat and eventually decide it is the best thing to do based on our values, not on any punishment that will be handed down. I feel the entire punishment line is a standard made by man to scare other men into conforming.

What if judgment is simply an awareness of your previous life, the realization of what you did right and wrong, and the ability to self critique recognizing your failures and your successes?

Both Reward and Punishment go together...this is a paradoxical world and ACT of God is beyond humans!
Without 'fear of punishment' for wrongs this world would be a jungle of humans!! this is the reason Human Laws are made, modified, upgraded and enforced..from time to time.

God is an Exception..beyond FACT yet a FACT...He is Master of both good and bad ones...and HE is free to use HIS discretion in all matters.
Man has no explanation even for such thing as Fate how can he imagine to define the Fact of God??

How do you know god is a fact? All I've heard from you is wishy washy poetry without a shred of evidence to back it up

You don't like poetry?? Hmm....

There are more than one ways to find facts...

1. Direct through seeing and experimenting
2. Indirectly through not seeing and experimenting
3. From corollaries
4 from manifestations and corroborative evidence

You don't see air yet you know it is there...when it blows, your breathe or when you swiped through it!!

you think yet cannot explain how and why thoughts come and where they go??

you love your children, parents, friends etc more than anyone else yet don't know why this oddity??

Someone meets an accident and dies....not God's fault as someone...
the guy acted against the Science of God!

God has its own ways of balancing things....earthquakes, floods, typhoons, Tsunamis, wars, etc etc
Ever heard 'animals' complain to God?? Only Humans are special endowed with Intellect and Will....and revolting against God's Science!
