I don`t go to church, I used to, and that`s how I learned that God was no where to be found in that building. I don`t take direction from anybody but myself and that`s why I`ll keep believing what I believe until and beyond the day that I die......I`m not here to put you down, I know how difficult it is to believe, I`ve been there.....and now I`m here and I believe that God exists and not you or anybody else can convince me otherwise.
That`s why I hate debates of this nature......it turns good people against each other...and for what?

Anyone who is interested in truth should watch this video, not for what it proves, but for what it makes questionable. Questioning is always superior to blind or "feel good" faith. Questioning, exploring, researching, imagining is how the human race moves forward. It's what God should want us to do. Thanks for posting!
* There is no substantiated basis for an historical Jesus. The only record of Jesus is in faith based documents. There is a difference.
* The Rosetta Stone (196 BC) tells a story in ancient Egypt that mirrors the Jesus story. Coincidence or does history repeat itself?
* Ancient scripts written before 150AD hold a total of 24 lines of ambiguous script regarding Jesus. An Anglican Priest asks is this the basis to form a major religion?
Remember in the Matrix, when Cyper makes a deal to double cross his friends and be inserted back into the Matrix. Most importantly he did not want to remember ANYTHING. I am totally befuddled about what the OP is on about, whether he is a Christian or an Atheist or probably Richard Dawkins who has too much time on his hands :dunno:

Maybe a bit confused here, we have an atheist in the UK, who seems to be ramming down everyone's throat, that there is no God :24: One of my fb contacts is really annoyed about his attitude, saying that if that is the case, then why not let people decide rather than him preaching his point

I have no problem with benign faith or belief. I think we all have a spiritual nature to appease, myself included.
I am not an atheist and call myself a Deist without a creator God.
It is the belief in fantasy and magic and miracles that I fight because I believe that that is the harmful part of religions and what causes all the type of crap that I linked you to.
In Africa they are killing little children as witches just because that work is in their Bible.
If you do not believe in those fantasy aspects or religion, we can be friends bit otherwise debates of a moral nature will become impossible because you can always say, stupidly, God did it or God does it this way or some other cop out.
literalism is fatal for your spiritual growth and please believe one that has found what most call God.
If you believe in fantasy, you will never access the Godhead. You will be denied.

Instead of lambasting the whole of Christianity as people who go out their way to kill children, why don't you instead question them, since you are some so called Deist, whatever that means?
