Hell no. I don't give a rats ass if he bowed too much or not at all. I'm referring to when Republicans do something insignificant and the democrats jump on them. They look just as stupid doing it.

You simply don't bow to a foreign monarch, in doing so you are accepting their authority over you. In addition, Obama didn't bow to Queen Elizabeth, but he practically gets low enough bowing to both the Japanese Emperor and Saudi King that he probably could've blown them without too much difficulty.
I don't disagree that people get worked up over stupid shit, on all sides of the political spectrum. But at the same time, I think this is a bigger deal than people are making it out to be. Hell, the Obama administration has come out defending it, claiming that he bowed out of "policy", when in actuality the State Department policy is that the President will not bow to a foreign monarch.

Personally, I think a hand-shake should suffice, and sure the bow was a little over-the-top reverse-limbo sorta thing, but at the end of the day...who cares???

I'm not sure about Saudi Arabia. But in Japan, bowing to the host is customary and polite. So I can't see what the fuzz is about.

Actually look it up, the standard is "thou need not bow". No where does it say that the president will not bow.

That depends... are you a non-interventionist? Support legalization of drugs? A flat (or fair) tax system? Support fiscal responsibility? Believe that social programs such as Social Security, MediCare, (if it gets passed) Universal Health Care system are unconstitutional? Do you support tightening the borders, mass-deportation of illegal immigrants while making it easier to legally immigrate to the United States? Do you believe that government needs to get smaller, not larger?
If you agree with most of those things, you're a Libertarian and not a centrist
