Wait weren't the McCain supporters saying that Obama might be good for the economy but, bad for national security? Is the UK planning on bombing America?
O god it's the revolutionary war all over again! :willy_nilly::willy_nilly::willy_nilly:
The truth is that right after 9/11 I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security. I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest. Instead, I’m going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testament to my patriotism.
We all revere the flag, but Senator Obama believes that being a patriot is about more than a symbol. It’s about fighting for our veterans when they get home and speaking honestly with the American people about this disastrous war.
Obama != :usa:Wow the fact that Obama doesn't where a pin is quite unpatriotic indeed.
What a horrible person. I wish he wasn't our next president now!
:sarcasm
That's not what they are happy about. The thing most countries despise about the US is their economic strength and their willingness to exert it to their advantage. Most of these people are socialists and the US economic system stands as a barrier to their own beliefs. There hope is that Obama weakens the US economy, not strengthens it. They are happy because they think Obama means their lives get better (or at least yours gets worse).
If innocent people are being killed, or people are planning to nuke the US, you're dang right we're going to police the world! So they want the US to fail even though if that happens the entire planet's economy will go into a shit hole.
This logic makes perfect sense, I've got to tell you.
But from what I have gathered: the things most countries despise about the US is our own ignorance, and for the past 8 years, our leader who feels we need to police the world, even though the US was founded on the idea of isolationism.
If innocent people are being killed, or people are planning to nuke the US, you're dang right we're going to police the world!
Something like that, yes.The Sarah Palin effect?
Pretty much 100% agree.Didn't vote for him...don't support his policy on the war in Iraq...and think, unfortunately, that too many people voted for him based solely on his race and THAT is a said commentary (equally as sad as those who didn't vote for him based SOLELY on his race).
