Currently I am using notebook with XP/Intel Cpre 2 Duo processor. I am waiting for the notebook with quad processor to be available here and it will come with Windows 7.

Yes, I pre-ordered Windows 7 Ultimate. It should be faster and I don't know, I understand those things as progress, so why not...

I just got everything back to full function after a catastrophic hard drive meltdown! The upside to the loss, I got rid of a bunch of crap...the downside, I lost a lot I needed. My memory finally remembered all that was on that last drive, and now all is working fine. NO UPGRADES in the near future....tempting the fates is not my thing!

Damn, I had one last month....I've lost 120Gb of music, about 200Gb of movies and about 10Gb of pics... I had a little luck...I found backup of music and photo folder in the end...

I have got it, and am running it right at the moment, but there are some issues at the moment, there was suppose to be Teletext on my media center, yet for some reasons, there is nothing, bah, looks like I have to re-install it to see if that solves it

I still have a Vista and it's been working fine. I bought my new laptop in September, so I assume they were able to work out a lot of the bugs that bogged Vista down.

all vista software is the same, they just patch it that makes it bulky

I saw what it looks like at the shopping place we went to yesterday. it looks really cool, I need it

:( I'm kinda disappointed by that statement. That the line of statements that were said by many who weren't very savvy when XP came out. "Wooo it has green start button" "it's so purrty".

Looks isn't everything.. *ahem* *cough*

But you'll be glad to know this time Microsoft didn't just put out a junk with just a pretty interface. The User interface is very intuitive and you will love its new features.

Already have, on both PCs.
64bit and 32bit,
I'm personally very impressed with it.
Although it's built on the same kernel as Vista...it's still far superior to Vista imo.
