She scared the fucking piss out of me because she didn't even understand the BASICS of our government AND she was a speaking-in-tongues fundamentalist. Coupled with the fact that her own daughter had "abstinence-only" education (and ended up knocked-up higher than a kite), Palin also QUIT her elected job, and when she opens her mouth she sounds like an uneducated hick... and then all the book deals and whoring out her family to media...

And I for one could never figure out way Mccain wanted that woman one step away from being the president of the United States. THAT'S what scared the living heck out of me. There were far more qualified and respected Republican women in political office that Mccain could of picked as a running mate. I figure if the guy (Mccain) couldn't make that simple call right, I didn't want him one heart attack away of putting the US in the biggest cluster **** in it's history with Palin as president.

I also don't have much respect for a man (Mccain) who had a supportive military wife (particularly when he was a POW) and then dumps her for a "babe" with tons of daddy's money.

If everyone is the states took all the effort they put into making fucking pie charts about there debt and stupied pictures with quotes about how piss poor there living situation is. Turn that into ways to make the FUTURE brighter they would be in a much better situation. Maybe that would be a better way to channel your energy. I mean, if you actually want solutions, it would have to include a return to traditional society where social norms and rules that govern behavior, economics and whatnot are part of the culture, that do not have to be legislated.

You may or may not be too young but you definitely have a lot to learn If you don't understand the past and only focus on the future then you're going to make the same mistakes that the people in the past made. America became king of shit mountain just like the Romans did, and now our shit mountain has hit it's fan club just like Rome's did, except at turbo-charged speed. It's because you are young and have a shit mountain load to learn that you don't see the value in studying the parallels so that maybe, just maybe, we can turn our shit into fertilizer and continue growing anew.

There's a whole lot of evidence pointing toward 30 + years of conservative policy contributing heavily to this current economic misery though. And isn't it interesting that conservatives are calling for even more of the deregulation that contributed to our current state of affairs? Talk about insanity..........
