I don't believe all that was written, I only believe in facts, which are in the Holy Quran...I do not think that you can prove anything in the Quran to be false.

You can't prove that the Quran is true though, can you? Even if we start at the basics, there is no proof that the Quran was revealed to Muhammed by the angel Gabriel.

I believe in God because God's existance has been proven and backed up by science. In some religious books, there are evidence that can prove the existance of God. Darwin's theory of Evolution has been proven wrong by science. Dr. Albert Einstein proved that the Big Bang and Redshift Theories are false. Nothing supports Atheism except for fictitious beliefs.

The Bible is not a science book. Nor is a science book a spiritual book.

The Bible is a roadmap that leads one to a love relationship with God, their creator.

A science book is the study of God's creation.

I would no more open a science book to meditate on a life lesson my Lord has for me, than I would open up the Bible to figure out how to do brain surgery.

I believe in God because I was raised Baptist, I believe what I have read in the Bible and have been taught. I have no reason to believe otherwise .. if God isn't real .. then so be it .. it hasn't and won't hurt anything for me to believe in God. Nor will it hurt anyone else for me to do so either.

Why would it not be .. I went to "bible" school all my life .. and I have plenty of friends who weren't raised to be .. we are both the same in most aspects excpet for some sex and drinking issues.

I don't have to believe, heck I don't even go to church anymore (haven't since I was 14) .. but I still believe in God, to me .. it just makes some things that otherwise wouldn't .. make more sense.

I can't explain it to you, since you obviously don't believe in God .. it's just something you either do or don't believe in .. and no amount on convincing is going to convince the other otherwise.

But catholosism doesn't make sense to me .. with all that inbetween heaven stuff, and confession to a priest, no sex for monks and priests and nuns, and saying chants and stuff .. that just seems to me like something to control people. I've never been "controlled" by religion .. although, my mom is a different story LMAO .. she tries constantly, hasn't worked for her either.

No, I really did believe, and to say that an atheist never "truly" believed just because he is an atheist isn't reasonable. Fuck, even Mother Theresa in her personal writings doubted that god was even there. I was pretty strong in my beliefs too, until I actually started to examine them.


No, you are controlled by religion or you aren't very religious. Thats the point of religion, to control a certain aspect of your life you deem "sinful". If you didn't let it control those certain aspects you wouldn't believe.

I believe .. but I also believe that the world itself and the people in it has changed since the Bible was written. Some of the things it tells us not to do .. just aren't all that "doable" this day and time (like no sex or living together before marriage).

I believe in God .. that's my point in it. I'm not perfect, and I also have my own brain to tell me what choices to make.
