Squirm, twist and wriggle all you want luc. You have added something that isn't there. You have interpreted it to say what you want it to say. It is your personal interpretation to avoid clear contradiction.

"Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God." - 2 Peter 20-21

Congratulations dude....you've just met someone that can show you a contradiction in the Bible.
Would you like some more?
You quote this passage and I presume you believe it also?
That's already a good start.

If you know the Bible, especially the New Testament you will see that these men, who boldly went into the synagoges knowing they would be killed, mocked, stoned, were almost all not learned. They were fishermen, shepperds, farmers. Yet they gave bold testimony to the Jewish counsel. Even the learned religious leaders were impressed with what these simple men knew about Gods word:Acts 4:13:
'When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.'

Ofcourse it takes logic, reason and intelligence to understand the Bible, but the key to the hidden secrets is the holy Spirit. It is He that reveals Scripture. So I am not learned but I have been reading the Bible under guidance of Gods Spirit for 4 years now.

You say that because you don't see the revealed secrets. You need the Spirit for that, which you are rejecting time and time again.

No joke, I have yet to meet a person that can show me one contradiction in Gods Word.

Amen. Irenaeus made sure no false teaching would pollute the word of God.

If you see the difference between the Dead Sea Scrolls and a Christian Bible you can now buy in your local book store, I would say God has done a job well done. 98,5% of the OT we have now is equal to these scrolls.
Another excellent post.

I'll take that as you having no answer to my accusation that you have personally interpreted scripture to say some thing that it doesn't in order to support your agenda.

Now how about this one.

KI2 24:8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

CH2 36:9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

or perhaps this one:

MAT 26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

MAR 14:72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

I gave you an answer on the Judas issue, but you have neglected my refutation. I see no reason to go on and refute the next paradox. I believe you will respond in the same manner, so it is futile exercise.

I gave you an answer on the Judas issue,
What you gave me was your personal opinion based on pure speculation and conjecture. You added something to scriptures that are not there.

but you have neglected my refutation.
I didn't neglect it, I rejected it because it was conjecture.

I see no reason to go on and refute the next paradox. I believe you will respond in the same manner, so it is futile exercise.
You mean I'll catch you out!

That Jehoiachin was a sneaky one wasn't he?

God Loves us ALL!

Sacrifice is the true expression of LOVE.

Peace

God doesn't exixt. It's the truth. Everyone claims he is real, but they got no evidence. Get out of your church and come to your senses, kid. The world is a cruel place...no god would allow that.
