A lot of you guys here are suffering from Obama Derangement Syndrome.
The acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the statements -- nay -- the very existence of Barack Obama.
Obama's positions better reflect the change and new direction that the American people have been calling for, but those with Obama Derangement Syndrome would rather stick with failure than even consider voting for him.
I did not coin the term btw.

Yeah, just like what the Noble committe did for obama and then you guys cry foul.

First of all, that comment makes zero sense. Secondly, 3/5 of the Nobel Committee was against giving the award to Obama initially, but were swayed by the chairman

VG said one of the newly elected members, Aagot Valle from the Socialist Left Party, had strong objections to giving the prize to Obama. "I had expected a debate, especially around the issues I find problematic, the war in Afghanistan," Valle told daily Bergens Tidende earlier this week.

Inger-Marie Ytterhorn, a former member of parliament for the opposition right-wing Progress Party, believed it was too early for Obama to win the prize, according to the paper.

Kaci Kullman Five, the Conservative Party's leader from 1991-94, also voiced opinions against the decision, VG said.

You guys getting too serious here. Chill out man.

you're the one throwing out insults right and left, accusing people of being mindless drones who are incapable of independent thought. Oh, and you were once again unable to back up any of your points with fact, resorting instead to anecdotes and complete untruths. You're also incapable of refuting hard facts either.

oh so he's just an idiot then, OK.

I really dont understand you guys. If I am an american I would be proud of my president and my country if my president wins a Nobel prize be it for peace or otherwise even if there is no merit in the award.
no see he doesn't deserve the award mainly because he hasn't done anything to warrant it. Bring proud of that makes no sense.
