First off, I have no idea why you are getting so defensive, dont nerd rage over advice. You cant even raid until level 80, and BEs are the worst PvE class in the game. Orcs and trolls are both superior in PvE.
As for Taurens, my shaman was made at 60 for PvP, and my warrior was made at 70. At 60, pvp 1v1 fights typically lasted all of 6-7 seconds, as players had 3-4k HP total. A 2 second stun was extremely good at the time. At 70, my warrior was made as a tauren since the racial was +5% hp. Warriors were one of the few tanks that were decent at the time, and a tauren raid geared/buffed tank had 1000+ more hp than other tanks. You cannot gem, enchant, or gear to get that gain of hp without sacrificing something of value.
Also, I am sure this is going to sound elitist, but your knowledge of the game is not nearly as developed as mine. Firstly, earthbind is an earth totem, meaning it shares a totem slot with tremor and stoneclaw, both useful totems. Secondly, totem is not a stun. It is a 50% snare, dispellable. The totem also has 5 hit points, and a 50% snare is one of the slowest in the game. Warstomp is a stun for 2 seconds on 4 targets. This stun can be used to allow me for a free heal with a melee on me, it can be uesd to interrupt a spell cast, or it can be used in PvE or PvP when I want to stun 2-3 targets hitting a friend. On my warrior, if a rogue evasions, Ill often warstomp and disarm the rogue, as you cannot dodge or parry whle stunned (or if youre behidn the target).
Regeneration for trolls is flat out terrible. It is not good past level 30. Troll zerking is decent, but if you want max PvE damage as horde, an orc is still superior even as a caster, especially a warlock. Voodoo shuffle was added to trolls though, making them have a racial that isnt laughable. As for the BElf silence, youll find that once you hit 80, no casters can melee at all, unless you consider DK abilities or a ret paladin healing himself a caster. Or unless youre meaning in an instance, you use BElf silence, and mobs run into melee range. That is one of thew nice uses of the BElf silence, but honestly, that is only really useful in 5 man instances. Most everything in LK is 10 or 25 man based raids, which is far more enjoyable IMO.
Thats because if you wanted to play a shaman at 60, your choice was troll or tauren. If you chose a troll, you chose wrong. They didn't have voodoo shuffle or zerking at the time.
I still prefer quest helper, but saying it is 10 times better in either direction is an extreme exaggeration. I know leveling up initially there was quite a few quests lacking on carbonite that was on QH, but there were also reversas of taht too. I still prefer QH, and I think it is easier to mess with the UI/easier to understand as a beginner.
WoW is serious business.
