It's a shame knowing that many talented actors struggle to make it in the acting world. Yet actors with no talent somehow manage to become big stars.

Nobody ever said that life was fair.

I liked Nicolas Cage but after watching Bangkok Dangerous some one shoot me

Ghost Rider was pretty horrible. I imdb'ed and was surprised to see a sequel to it had been launched last year apparently.

That movie had little right to be any good, but it really was.
I like Natalie Portman enough. She's quite good in the Professional, I think it was one of her first movies. She's 12 or something? Maybe older.

Yeah, Leon is one of my favourite films and she was a good little actress in that.

I think John Wayne was terrible at acting. A friend of mine points out that millions of people think he was great, so how can I say that millions of people are wrong?

But the reality is that there's also millions of folks who agree with me that Wayne couldn't act. Therefore, my friend's point is moot.

Someone mentioned the movie "Drive" - I'd have to say that is probably one of THE shittiest films I've seen in at least five years. People were getting up and walking out of the theatre. And who was the wardrobe person on that set??? The satin jacket that he wears for the entire movie was bad... but even worse??? When it was blood-splattered and everyone just ignored that little factoid.

I don't know about you guys, but if someone was to come into a diner looking like they just killed Ronald McDonald, my ass would be dialing 911 (or if in Germany, 112!!)...

No, JuggsBunny. No. Drive was an awesome flick, weirdo.

Although Julia Louise-Dreyfus isn't a bad actress, I thought she was nothing special as "Elaine" on Seinfeld.

Jason Alexander and Michael Richards, on the other hand...

John Wayne is the worst actor of all time?

Oh my.

Wayne was nominated for an Academy Award 3 times winning 1. If that's bad then I don't want to be good.

I liked Bacon in The River Wild, Apollo 13, Murder in the First, Mystic River, The Woodsman, Frost Nixon and A Few Good Men. A Few Good Men was my favorite of his. He's not the most talented actor but has his moments in dramatic roles. Wish he'd do more like those. But I'd hardly call him the worst ever. Could think of dozens worse than him.

Kevin Costner is a fine actor. Untouchables, Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Dances With Wolves, The Bodyguard, 13 Days, Open Range and others were great performances. Another one he did that's not known as much was For Love of the Game. Really liked him in that and the style of the movie. Like Bacon, I could think of tons of worse actors.

Nicholas Cage? Lots of people make fun of him but he can act in serious dramas. He was amazing in Leaving Las Vegas. Probably his best. Showed me he's got talent. Also good in Moonstruck, Raising Arizona, Honeymoon in Vegas, and he's great in Adaptation. Also a fun and good action star.

I think most people here are naming popular actors they don't like instead of truly the worst actors. If they were really the worst most of us would not know about them because they would be out of a job after the first couple movies. I look at everything from a sports perspective. When people talk about the worst football players of all time most name well known athletes who played for more than a few years. The true worst football players are usually out of the league after one season never to be heard of again.

Now if you want to talk about popular actors who are bad I'd go with those 2 annoying kids from Year 1 (the chubby guy and the tall skinny one who mumbles quietly) and that actor from The Mummy series for starters. Horrible.

Just my two cents.

He is great in a lot of those movies. I agree especially about Adaptation.
