Tim the Troll you remind me of that yappy little dog on the old Werner Bros. cartoons that jumps up and down all the time. He was a major annoyance but still funny to watch for some strange reason.

Here's the deal now. I will keep an accurate record of every time you troll me and when I decide I've had enough I will forward a copy of it to each and every person that has their hand in running this joint. I will also post it in a separate thread for all the " members " to read so they know what type of almost man you really are. I'm going to go back a few posts and start building it today but from this moment forward it may be one more time, it may be twice or it could be any other amount so keep it up tuff guy. Personally, i dont like homosexuals; but they are human beings and deserve to live as much as I do. I would hope they wouldent show affection in public places. Here is why, I believe being homosexual is a choice. Its a behavior. Kids can learn it.

Fact is, this thread is too long for myself to actually go through everything, but per Doc's first post, Doc states that he doesn't like homosexuals, and states that they are human beings and deserve to live as much as he does. Doc also stated somewhere that if on the battlefield, he would do his job no matter if the person was straight or gay. However, because Doc said he doesn't like homosexuals, everyone jumped on him.

Kind of like when I was talking to my buddy about Al Sharpton (sp?) and he called Al a big nigger and he hated him for what he represents for black people. Should I consider my buddy a bigot?

I could understand if you said you respect him for serving our country. I respect him for that too. But I cannot respect him for having the "balls" to spew his hatred.

Bigotry is prejudice against someone because of their race, age, religion, gender, sexual preference or disabilities. I can honestly say I don't have prejudice against anyone because of these things. Some might think I'm a religious bigot because I occasionally make negative comments about religion. However, my best friend is a devote Catholic. I attend a UU church myself. It's not religion I disprove of. It's intolerance. If you are tolerant then you have my respect, religious or not.

Someone told me if I'm not racist then I should feel comfortable walking into a black ghetto by myself. I would not do so but not because I'm racist. I would not be comfortable walking into a white ghetto either. If I had to make a choice then I'd take the white ghetto but only because I'm white. If I were black then I'd feel safer in a black ghetto. It's not because I'm racist. It's because some people are.

Btw, I don't really respect people who burn the American flag. It was just an illustration. In fact, I question the patriotism of anyone who respects someone for burning the American flag. I also question the morality of anyone who respects someone for bigotry.

To answer your question, I'm not defending Doc's actual views on homosexuality, but his right to say what he thinks. I'd like to think that I've grown as a person through my own life experiences, and although I don't agree will all of Doc's views at this moment in time of my life, I do think I understand where (Doc) he is coming from at the point in time in HIS life because I was his age at one time.

I do realize that sometimes you can't change people's opinions via online internet forums, and it just seems that everyone is trying to shove their opinion down Doc's throat and bashing him for his thoughts trying to get him to change his mind. A question was asked per this thread, and it was answered in honesty by Doc.

Just as I think that it's "natural" for the human species to propagate and I voiced my opinion that I don't think homosexuality is "normal", I was bashed for that. Does that mean I treat homosexuals "different" because I think they're not normal? I'd like to think that through my actions (which can be more difficult that words IMO) the answer is no. Would I love my son any less if he were to tell me he were gay? In my mind the answer is no.

"Due unto others as you would have done unto you" is a pretty powerful message no matter where you take it from.

By the way, I do believe ANYONE has the right to burn the American Flag, that said, knowing myself, I'd probably be arrested if someone did it in front of me. At least the people burning the Flag are trying to make a statement unlike the clueless people who have no clue on how the Flag is to be displayed in public.

I have to laugh. Perhaps I just live with tolerant people around me, but I can't remember the last time when I heard someone say "you see those f****** queers last night". I have however heard a buddy complain that he made the mistake of stopping at the Rainbow room for a beer not realizing what he was getting himself into until he didn't notice a woman in the entire joint and put two and two together.

I work in a bar where I talk to a lot of guys, and with different conversations some of them will put down homosexuals. I don't hear it everyday but I do hear it. On of my closest friends is gay, and he has been bashed on before.

So theres been a couple pages since i last posted. Sorry again guys, another busy week. I got promoted too. +200$ a month.

Anyways, so my last post someone showed me a 2005 study showing me evidence of some gay gene. I countered with a 2009 study that null'ed the 2005 study. I have gotten no response from that.

Retro, if you dont want to hear my replies because im spewing bigotry, why do you ask and respond to my posts then? I didnt really read your post throughly, but i saw you posted some bible verses. I dont use christianity as an escuse to dislike homosexuals. I dislike homosexuals because I dont like them.

At the end of the day, you cant prove to me a homosexual is a permanent condition. If people get over the condition, then there is a cure. No matter how miniscule that percentage is. They can change if they want, i wont force them to. The fact is, they can change. Its not easy, but they can do it.

Also, i will continue to post for my oppinion until this thread gets closed or i get banned from the site. On the cavalry flag, the red is over the white to signify death before surrender/dishonor. Ill keep debating, and I wont stoop down to name calling as some of you have shown me. If your point is justified, then you really wouldent have to name call. Children name call.
