they do .. the video AEF posted was a far cry from how most of those animals are treated. Tose video's are from where PETA (or other animla welfare people) have inflitrated and caught people mistreating food animals and used these video's as evidence.

Also agreed. The video is pretty fake to me. Just because it's being investigated doesn't make it real. Investigations don't always turn out how you expect them to. And seriously, why would a soldier risk his job and risk going to prison, just to video tape this? It's fake.
Soldiers have done worse than this and taken pictures/recorded it.

He's probably capable of fighting in a war without being too terrified to do the job he signed up for. He's most likely the exact type of soldier we NEED in a war. Not one that gets scared and goes AWOL.

There is a difference between throwing a damn puppy off a cliff and purposefully killing a civilian.

Wow as a prior service member that disgust me immensley. I mean what in the hell did that puppy do to deserve that. And the answer is NOTHING. He should get an article 15 and be kicked out of the United States Army for that cruel act.
Try re-reading the thread. For one, the dog doesn't even move at all, nor do you see it breathing early in the video. Next, there's a good pause when the man moves his arm out of frame, which is the perfect chance to stop recording, switch the real dog(If it was real in the first place) with a fake one, and then start again. Third, as AEF said, judging by the poor quality of that video(And the fact that it's supposedly recorded on a camera phone), the sound of the dog yelping wouldn't be that clear. It's fake.
