Ya I knew they will have that available when it's released.

I was looking to watch individual shows which I remembered a site to do that on so I'm good now.

I just finished Dead in the Family, the most current Sookie Stackhouse book. I swear these books keep getting better and better or at least stay as good as they started. Sookie's involvement in supe-affairs is getting more entangled and she plays a surprisingly important role in these events. I'd have it no other way. :thumbup

I'm also watching the series, but they do not stand up to the source.

Harris has never called him by name. I've always wondered if that was a artistic or legal choice.

I was thinking that my preference for the books is that a huge element of the story is being exposed to the humor and wit of the character which is revealed through narrative. This is completely missing from the show.

I had to be the thread curmudgeon, but anyone happy with the Season Finale? I was disappointed and I thought Sookie acted in a manner completely out of character when she ground up something in the garbage disposal and cackled while she did it. Please!

No I actually liked it. And that something was Russells love that she put in the disposal.

I just wish they weren't changing so many things up from the books. Most of the changes are pretty good, but some I dunno about.

I knew that. It was my way of avoiding spoiling it for the unsuspecting! And now you've done it!! Of all the made up sub-plots, the Menard running amuk taking over the entire town, the alliance between vamps and weres, Lafayette's homo love affair, Jason wanting to be a cop, Sam's low life family, practically everything Tara does, there is only one made up sub plot I like, Jessica. She is nummy and interesting. What other made up plots did I overlook?

I have watched all 3 seasons, i watched number 3 online, was good but the finale wasn't really like a finale, just left lots of questions,season 4 is next July/August or so some sites say. If anyone wants to talk true blood, send me a message as to not spoil it for people, i have a lot of things i don't understand but cannot ask anyone as i am in the UK and the people i'd like to ask,prefer to wait for it to be on Tv BOOOOOOOO.
