I watched the first two seasons online, and have the e-books 1 to 9. The series are interesting, though a little too much on the blood and sex and bare breasts and butts. Alexander Skarsgard is yummy.

The books are written poorly if I am completely honest, and I tend to skip parts rather liberally. I like the Sookie/Eric interaction, so I jumped from book 4 to book 9.

Yeah it was. I mean, ok, he had to dig himself into the ground because of the sun - but why NAKED?

Because the women deserve their fair share of buttock and I would say assorted private parts, except I don't think I've spotted a dangly yet. In some interview, one of the actors said in the sex scenes they have to wear socks. I wonder if afterwords the sock has grown or the pressure keeps things deflated? :D

I read the first two books last night. I'm glad I did - it doesn't happen exactly like the series, but it's still a lot of fun!!!

Of course I don't know if it will "ruin" the surprises in the show for me.

Oh you're not going to be able to put them down!!! LOL!

And so far it hasn't for me. I still really enjoy the TV series.
