This statement is disrespectful and unnecessary in the discussion of this case from my view. If it struck Joe in a similar way, it must really be bad, because we hardly ever agree about anything.

We may agree more than you think LOL

If it were me Zimmerman seems to be culprit here but I don't have all evidence laid out in front of me like the courts do
but I just had a judge make a bad judgment where I am about a woman getting attacked at a dollar general store

a female employee was working at the store and a female manager was working the store as well
manager was at cash register
employee was in isle sitting on the floor around many empty boxes appearing as she was putting shipment on shelves

a female customer came into the store to purchase items and asks the employee where an it is to be located
employ rudely shouts "I'm on break!"
customer is furious and goes to manager to make a complaint
employee follows then customer heads for the door to leave
and employee is cursing her threatening to attack her and when she gets to the door the employ is right behind her and repeatedly slams the door on the customer with the customer
still in the door framing so the door is being used as a weapon during this attack

there are several of the bubble security cameras in this area
there was a witness outside and her children were outside witnessing this because they were waiting in the car and saw it happening and got out to stop it
the cops showed up the customer pressed charges the employee as well had her license and car ran by the police and she had no insurance and suspended license
not that this is related to the incident
the customer got a lawyer
the judge said there is no evidence
dollar general claims they have video
they said they would make a settlement
injuries were that the customer has 3 heart splints and degenerative disc disease where the discs between the vertebrae bones slip out and put pressure on spine nerves because bones are getting smaller
well the door was being slammed repeatedly on the back and torso of customer
jolting the pre-existing problems
she had to go to the emergency room to get blood thinners and back scans and pain meds

the judge said there was not enough evidence
and the two employees of the dollar general claimed that it didn't happen like that
and the dollar general is going to settle out of court

that is some BS another clown judge

the employees are both still working there.

goes to show that if your smart enough you can get away with anything nowadays

Not that either.

These little words are convenient ways to shut all conversation down by labeling a single person as "X" in order to stop them from saying something that you disagree with.

Even if I *were*, I don't see what anyone is accomplishing by calling someone a racist or a bigot.

Well, how about shit for brains who justifies a dumb ass insensitive comment by the news coverage? I think that one should at least fit.

I usually mind my own bussiness but you guys are taking this "tray tray" way to serious....people failed to see the sarcasm here.
Tray Tray is a baby name for Trayvon...Trayvon is not a baby.

Would the same fit be thrown if Zimmerman had been presented as a young boy...and someone stated little Zimmy as a show of sarcasm?

No one is disrespecting any victims here...its a jab at those that overplay the youth, of the one that was shot.

John's point is becoming more apparent.

Some people just don't get the fact that when you stoop to the level of those you mock, you've become no better.

OK I have worked at Dollar General (seriously i have) and there are always more than one employee on the work floor at any given time (usually 2 but up to 4) so the likelihood that this customer couldn't find anyone but that single rude employee are slim to none, also if the employee was on break they aren't allowed on the floor, the supervisor could POSSIBLY be in the back hard to say. those security cameras, yea mostly for show, if there are any they are only trained on the cash register, so again the likelihood that the incident was taped is slim. empty boxes are not allowed on the floor, they can be on a U cart but not strung around on the ground where they can be a tripping hazard. you also have to take into account the kind of customer who does come into the store, if i had to hazard a guess.. The customer was probably drunk/high or otherwise incoherent, most likely the employee was rude, most likely the customer took the "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME THAT WAY" mentality and got the supervisor who probably wouldn't promise the customer that she'd fire the employee, at which time i'm willing to bet the customers anger was boiling over and she probably started threatening/doing physical harm to the employee and/or supervisor at which point I am willing to bet with no other options that the supervisor and employee tried to forcibly remove the customer and a scuffle at the door happened, causing the customer a small injury. the supervisor should have called the cops had the customer become unruly but i'd bet he/she was thinking on their toes and trying to avoid serious injury to the employees or herself. DG would want to settle out of course, its easier to pay off a customer who was the cause of her own injury than to fight it in court and possibly be fined as much as 10 times more. there is no way that the DG employees could have caused her heart disease OR her degenerative back disease, that's the greedy customer trying to cash in in what was most likely a minor incident.

but of course i wasnt there so its speculation from the way I have seen my customers react when i did work at DG.
